Good, but...
For what this product is, it seems to be really good quality. The aroma is very much dark chocolate but the taste is far lighter. Go 6 of the 6 to 8 min as 8 starts to get a tad bitter but six was not at all. The flavor is chocolaty but not actually chocolate flavor. I like it, at the very least it was worth trying. Its a unique tea experience, but its missing something for me. I can't quite tell what. Its slightly light on flavor but not bad. It needs some kind of partner. I feel like this would be amazing for several tea blends. But on it's own its not quite a wow for me. If you have a tea you want to have chocolatey flavor added to, this is the means of doing it. Most chocolate teas I hate because they taste like artificial chocolate flavor to me. This, however, is the ingredient to use for it. Ill keep giving it a try and see how if taste gets aquired. Deffinitely not disappointed I got it. Give it a shot!

One of My Favorite Teas
I drink a lot of tea. Caffeinated in the morning and herbal in the afternoon and evening. I love this one. I’ve tried other chocolate herbals and this one is the best. It has a very rich complex chocolate flavor. I like the cacao shell as it gives it a deep brewed flavor but the nibs give it a complexity and depth to the flavor. I like it with some sugar and will often add some milk foam as well. I especially like this in the winter time. My only complaints are the price because it’s more expensive than other teas I like and that it was out of stock for a long time. The price is definitely reasonable given its ingredients. I usually double steep it to get more value from it. I don’t double steep much because I don’t always want another cup but this one does really well with a second steep and retains most of the flavor.

Tastes good, but powdery
I am a recent convert to cacao tea, love it, have tried several kinds. This produces good flavor, but some of the leaves have become so finely ground that some powder gets through the tea strainer, need to wipe it off the rim of your mug before you drink.

Great flavor.
This was recommended by my doctor for my sensitive stomach. I was so happy to find it on Amazon. I like the flavor and it really works!!

the answer to my prayers
So I have been sick with Lyme disease for 16 years and I can not eat many things because of this disease. I can not eat any sugar nor can I have caffine without a flare up some nasty nerve pain in my face. So I have not been able to eat any chocolate for so long and if I have the occasional treat I suffer terribly for it. So when I saw this tea I thought it may help to ease some of my cravings for sweets and chocolate. However when I received this tea it was beyond what I had dreamed for and imagined. It simply tastes delicious and tastes "almost" like real chocolate. I add a few drops of liquid stevia to the cup and that sweetens up the drink without adding any sugar. So when I have this drink it feels like I am having a nice dessert and I feel satisfied and experience a rich smooth robust chocolatey flavor. But the miracle is that this tea somehow tastes just like chocolate yet has no sugar and no caffine and does not flare up any symptoms. It also has no calories so it's a dieters dream as well. I have never even heard of a tea like this nor have I ever run across a tea like this in my entire life at any restaurant or deli. I never knew such an amazing product existed. I just happened to find it on amazon by chance! Thank GOD!!!

Taste sour like it expired
I've drank cacao husk tea from other brands for years and recently gave this brand a try. It has an obvious sour taste that other brands don't have, one that tastes like something has expired. Had a check on the bag, it doesn't say anything about manufacture date or expiration date. Legally all food and beverage are required to mark expiration date though. I don't know how they got around the law.

110% Cacao Deliciousness!
I was drawn to this product for a few reasons, but mostly because I love all things cacao! I was beyond impressed by the presentation of the product and even more pleased to see the tea tasted as good as I had hoped! I assumed it might be a little bitter tasting (seeing how cacao can be that way) but it was just right! I filled a tea diffuser with the cacao, let it seep in hot water for a few minutes and voila! Deliciousness! Since buying the product I've played around with putting it in some recipes- my favorite so far is mixing the tea with cinammon and a little brown sugar - tastes like a holiday drink from Starbucks! I also tried baking with it (I mean, why not? It's all natural!) I've put it in cookies as well as in my oatmeal- both taste fantastic. I most definitely will be ordering this again and look forward to finding new ways to add it into recipes.

Best Tea Ever
I discovered this in Puerto Vallarta. There's a chocolate "museum" (well, that's what they call it) that will teach you how to roast chocolate beans, shell the, grind the beans into a chocolate drink, and brew the shells into the BEST tea ever in the universe of ever. Seriously wonderful. I bought a bag of tea there and was excited to find this on Amazon here. This isn't exactly the same product as what we bought in the museum, but the cacao was grown in the same part of the world. Boil the tea for about 5 minutes with a little sweetener. You can use sugar, but we use Erythritol, which is a little less sweet and has fewer calories. Then we pour it through a strainer. It's best nice and hot, but it's still pretty good when it cools off a little. I don't know how it tastes when it gets down to room temperature because it doesn't seem to last that long.
