Comfortable and aesthetic
I bought this keyboard and mouse set for both work and study use - it is the perfect mechanical keyboard if you're looking for a low-budget choice that still looks good. The keys are quite loud if that's something that bothers you, but for the price, the product finish is really good quality, and the colour scheme, rounded keys and smooth mouse make for a really cute aesthetic. It sounds silly but it's one of those things that helps keep me motivated because typing with this keyboard is such a fun experience - definitely recommend if the style appeals to you!

Really good and cute!
Super easy to use, only have to insert batteries and turn the mouse on- then just plug the USB into the computer/laptop. no linking/syncing needed. Looks just like the pics really cute and i love the typewriter sounds! Just like a typewriter but quieter/softer. I lost the small USB to connect it to the computer and they sent me a new one free of charge! so amazing! couldn’t be happier

Lovely looking keyboard
I absolutely loved the look of this reminder me of a typewriter I had in the 90’s as a child. Having a couple of different keyboards before this including an apple one and they all stopped working I didn’t hold out much hope but so far so good. The only thing that doesn’t make in 5 star is it comes with a USB connector and using it on an iPad meant I had to buy an adapter separately However with the adapter is does work and it’s a lovely item…mouse too

Good Value
I bought this keyboard and mouse set over a year ago and I have been thoroughly impressed with it. At first, like others, I struggled to get used to the noise of the keyboard (especially the space bar) but you do get used to it - it might annoy others though if you work in a shared space. The set comes with a USB attachment to plug into your computer. I have a USB-C hub connected to my Macbook Pro (which has no standard USB ports itself) so I can plug the attachment in there. The USB attachment is located in the underside of the mouse and you need to remove it. I have also used this keyboard/mouse with my Xbox Series X by plugging the USB adapter into the console and can confirm it does work. It is limited only by which games support keyboard/mouse input. Probably not gonna be the best for competitive games however, but works with things like The Sims pretty well. The keyboard and mouse both take AA batteries (not included, if I remember rightly) which I was slightly disappointed with because I assumed they were rechargeable. The only AA batteries I had at the time were cheap ones from the Pound Store which I expected to need to replace very soon after. However, since placing these initial batteries I have only needed to replace them ONCE in over a years use. For context, I am a student and use this keyboard and mouse regularly as part of my main set up - probably 20-30 hours a week on average, or longer when I have assignments due. I didn't use it so often over the summer holidays though, so that might have extended the battery life somewhat. Things often get trapped in the gaps of the keys (hairs, dust, etc.) but you are able to remove all of the key caps - it does take a little force and you may need a little leverage (like a pen) but they won't break. You are then able to clean under the keyboard - I use cotton buds. I suggest taking a photograph of the keyboard before doing this so that you can easily put the key caps back in their correct place. A few negatives: - The loud space bar was tricky to get used to. - The 2 key also has a " on the key cap - however, when pressed in conjuction with shift, it does not produce a " but a @. And the @ key cap produces a ". This is how my laptop keyboard works, so it wasn't a problem for me, but something to consider if you often need to look at the keys. - Very rarely, the mouse or keyboard are delayed or less responsive than usual. It seems the USB adapter has to be reasonably close by to them. I usually resolve this by turning the mouse off/on by using the switch on its lower side and removing the USB adaptor and then reconnecting it. This hasn't happened in a long while though. - Also very rarely, a key sometimes feels a bit stuck. If this happens, usually I just spam the key which seems to resolve it, failing that I take the key cap off and give it a wipe. As I said, this is a rare issue and has not been permanent On the whole really good value for money. The pale blue colour looks really nice, but also functions well.

Great, until it wasn't (with update edit)
*Update: after leaving this review the seller contacted me and offered a replacement or full refund, which was provided quickly and fuss free. So maybe I was just unlucky in getting a dud? If it hadn't stopped working, I would have been happy to keep using it. It looked great and the chunky keys made a fab noise! Purchased in late April, easy to install and use (once you get used to chunkier keys). Now in early June and several keys have completely stopped working, but the return window has closed and there is no way to contact the seller.

Square keys are for squares...!
I bought a similar item to this a good few years ago on Amazon and have been looking for another one for my second PC. The original one I bought - which is still in daily use - became unavailable, and I have been searching for something similar ever since. Well now I've got what I wanted and am delighted with it. It is near enough the same size as the older one, and doesn't take a huge space on my desk while still being a fully functional one with all the standard keys. It's compactness comes from not having a separate number pad - which suits me fine as being left-handed I rarely use them. It also means the keyboard takes up less of my already crowded desk, which is certainly a plus for me. The best thing though is the round keys, which I much prefer to square ones. They are good quality and very quiet compared to my older keyboard. If you have a "silver surfer" in your family who learned to touch type on an old-school typewriter, then I'm certain these would be an ideal gift for birthdays or Christmas. Battery life appears good, and both the keyboard and mouse are happy with my rechargeable batteries - which is another bonus as they have a slightly lower voltage than standard batteries (1.2 compared to 1.5) and some electronic items don't work proper. Go round if you dare, and don't be a square...!!! 😉
