I purchased two of these for my toddlers and they are really cool. Definitely help with stability and offer a HUGE tile to build on and use for special builds. We use with the Magna-tile brand and have no issues with the magnets. I did purchase one as a Christmas gift for another toddler, too. The only thing to note is that if you have two of them and they stick together, it can be a little tough to separate them. Not a big deal and shouldn't be a deal breaker, just dont store them stacked on one another.

This board is great for building on and gives the bottom structure necessary for stability. I would consider it a must for Magna type blocks.

OH MY GOSH, this thing is amazing when paired with the Playmags set! I'm a Preschool teacher and will be telling our preschool to purchase this brand in the future as soon as we get funding! It's very durable and from what I can tell will last for years to come. The magnets in it are super strong. I appreciate this, because toddlers building NEED strength or the whole thing will come down. No one's got time to feel defeated! :) My little girl loved the set (it's very unique, see my other review) and she appreciated the base. It gives her more creative freedom than using the table or the floor. Lastly, we're used to MagnaTiles. Not knocking their brand, but these Playmags are stronger. The colors are more vibrant and like I said seem more durable. I can't wait to get them into a classroom for a true test of the strength though. Just have to wait for the funds to order them! Got these for my kids for Christmas with more magnatiles and they love them! So nice to have them to build everything on. Definitely recommend getting them. Great quality and durability. Kids has fun with them and worth the money

My grandkids love playing with magnetic tiles. This large base is perfect. It provides stability for their creations. High quality! The kids step on it inadvertently and it hasn't cracked. Shipped quickly! I've bought one for each of my kids' houses (and mine too).

My grandson loved this and instantly knew what to use it for to build buildings that stand with ease! At 4 yo, I was uncertain if he’d know or need to be shown. First thing he did was start building up and up! Great gift!

I bought this for a three year old to add to her Magna Tile sets. Previously, I purchased a 12x12 Shapemags base without a handle. This 12x12 is smaller than the 12x12 Shapemags, so although useful it did not match/extend the original base which I assumed it would. I like the color, the handle, it works fine with her sets, but I would stick with one brand if you plan on creating a larger base to build on.

playmags magnets are sooo good. the plastic feels sturdy and the magnet is strong so my kid loves building with their magnets
