Static Care ESD Mat Workstation Ground Kit - my mat did not come with a snap and I was too impatient to install the provide snap to it when I used this so I used a binder clip as a temporary solution. I was working on a PC with my nephew and got this so we could both have a grounding strap. it worked perfectly. the longer cable was nice since last time I used my grounding strap I needed to use a power strip to get closer to my work surface. I will tape it down next time.

The product is good. It works. Grounded my workstation just fine. My only problem is that the plug is too large for the wall socket to fit anything else around it. It was a simple fix to make it work, but still the plug is mostly a dummy. I don't see the need of having an oversized plug.

Works great! Tested with ohm meter and it checks out.

The wristband wiring includes a one Megaohm resistor to protect you if you come in contact with high voltage. Another reviewer thought the wiring wasn’t connected because he set his meter to Kilohms opposed to Megaohms so he didn’t get a reading.

The screw for the snap doesn't fit inside the mating snap with the cord leading to the ground plug, just as another review stated. I ground down the head of the screw slightly and then it snapped together. Used a vice and a Dremel tool.

Nice grounding kit I'm using with a static mat I also bought on Amazon. The double ground clicked right on to the existing anchor on the mat so I didn't need the included hardware. The wrist strap is good too. My three monitors used to black out due to my static electricity. After grounding the mat using this kit, I rested my keyboard on it and always have contact with my arms which solved the problem.

I bought this to mainly ground an ESD mat I have at work that didn't come with the necessary equipment. Upon receiving the mount and seeing the video review from another customer I thought it would be a good idea to test the continuity between the ESD mat mount and the cable that connects it to ground using a banana plug. The mount point failed the continuity test with the banana plug so I returned it, but upon receiving a second set it had the exact same problem. FWIW, the rest of the product seems to work as intended; the two banana plug ports on that ESD mat mount *are* connected to the banana plug that connects to ground, but this would fail to actually ground an ESD mat.

$15 would be the sweet spot for this. But it does give you what is needed to ground you true anti-static mat safely, as well as your self. Found the 1meg ohm resistance to be where it should be. The snap works fairly well. wrist strap works well. It'll wear like any other. I'm not a small guy, I can open up the strap enough to go up above my elbow so it's not dragging across my work area via my wrist.
