I utilize this as a quick addition for high use installs that get banged around a bit and loosen due to vibration but also need to be regularly serviced and removed. For light applications it works excellent. For heavier duty I'd always go threadlocker. The positive with this is it's easy to keep on hand, doesn't leak or go bad, and can be removed quite easily.Great on hand addition to my tool kit for screws that otherwise would back out over time.

I used this to make sure the brash head on my cleaner dis not rotate loose when I was washing my RV 13 feet up. This works great! No more loose brush heads!

The tape is relatively easy to cut and peel from the backing. And it's very easy to remove from the screw! Not really sticky at all. I assumed it would stick to itself once wrapped. It does. A bit. But not enough to keep it wrapped around a 10-32 machine screw well enough to screw it into a threaded hole. Might work on larger coarser threads. But in this experience with it, so much has to be wrapped to keep it on, it just bunches up and won't go into the mating thread. It just strips off. I tried cleaning the screw with thinner to ensure there was no oil interfering with adhesion. No improvement. I'm back to using teflon tape. It is much easier to apply, costs 1% as much as this (the 1" required is practically free these days since a roll is included in nearly everything you buy from China), and works okay to keep fasteners from working their way out. But, it needs to be reapplied after a few cycles. I was hoping this was a permanent fix. But no, not for small screws.

My vape battery door is stripped, metal on metal and thought this might help. It did not for my perticular use. But im sure its fine.

We kept getting screws falling out in our motor home due to road vibration. We took each faulty screw out, added the tape and put it back. No more problems with falling screws.

Product is easy to use with no mess. I used it on a lawnmower blade bolt that kept working loose due to high vibration. I've cut a 2 acre yard 3 times and the bolt is still tight. Best thing since sliced bread!

Works but takes some practice.Would rather use Teflon tape!
