avery labels are the best for weather proof laser printer labels and the price on Amazon is better than anywhere else I have looked, and I look very hard.

These were just the labels we needed to affix to our vacuum sealed bags of sausage sticks prior to freezing them. They went on well and are not easily (I would say impossible almost) removed.

Much cheaper on Amazon than on Staples.com We use these weatherproof labels on our plant containers at our nursery to provide planting instructions or just to provide name and price. If you have Word on your computer all you have to do is open the correct template, type what you'd like, and print on a laser printer and you're all set. Be sure you are using a laser printer, not inkjet, otherwise the ink will just smear all over. We have been using these for years and they and the printing hold up well under hot, wet, and dry conditions. If the location you are applying the label is wet or dirty, the label won't stick so in our case, we need to keep a towel handy to wipe the surface down first.

These labels are great for sticking to your homebrew and home made wine bottles. They are absolutely waterproof when made on a color laser printer. The only negative is the adhesive is so aggressive that you can't remove the adhesive from the bottle if you want to recycle the bottle by removal of the label so the bottle can be reused. After you try ro remove these labels you'll find almost all of the adhesive still sticking on the bottle. The only things I found that will remove the adhesive from the bottle is laquer thinner (flammable and dangerous), and Goo-Gone adhesive remover (Expensive and strong residual odor). If the beer or wine is a gift to someone from you,(and you don't plan to reuse the bottles), these labels are perfect.

I've tried many different labels over the years to use on my game meat creations - biggest problem with most labels is they dont like to conform and stick to vacuum sealed backs as well as they tend to come off in the freezer once a little moisture is introduced. These labels have worked perfectly - I like to keep my freezer well organized and with the help of these labels, I have been able to do just that. HIGHLY recommend for labeling elements that will be vacuum sealed, introduced to vast temperature swings or moisture. I couldnt be happier with them. Highly recommend!!!!

Tried to print on these with my printer and the ink rubbed right off. It seems like because of the waterproofing that keeps it from falling apart in the rain it also doesn't allow it to accept ink either. Total waste of money for me and my purposes. Maybe if your are writing on it with an ink pen it would be fine but I really doubt it.
