"You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead-your next stop, The Twilight Zone." Submitted for your approval, Rod Serling's timeless series of fantasy and suspense, which ran from 1959-1964, with a roster of then-current and future stars that included Burgess Meredith, William Shatner, Gig Young, Lee Marvin, Inger Stevens, and Jack Klugman.156 episodes on 24 discs. 74 1/2 hrs. Standard; Soundtrack: English PCM mono; Subtitles: English (SDH); audio commentary; interviews; more. Review: A timeless classic, beautifully preserved on Blu-ray - This Blu-ray set is a must-have for any fan of classic television or thoughtful storytelling. The Twilight Zone remains one of the most iconic and genre-defining series of all time, and this complete collection does it justice. The packaging is well put together, and the disc organization is clean and intuitive, making it easy to jump into any episode. So far, playback has been smooth with no issues across any of the discs I've watched. The picture quality is also surprisingly sharp for a show from this era—restored in a way that keeps the original feel but brings out a lot of detail you wouldn’t see in broadcast or DVD versions. Whether you're rewatching old favorites or discovering Rod Serling’s masterwork for the first time, this set delivers a faithful and enjoyable experience for fans of sci-fi, suspense, and social commentary. Review: Great blu ray - One of my favorite series on blu ray. This series looks and sounds amazing. There are many things that have been revealed because of the resolution. You can see make up mistakes and bad painting on backdrops. The best that this set has to offer are the extras. So many hours, radio dramas, isolated scores, commentary etc. . . The complete series costs about as much as two or three seasons pitched separately.

A marvelous and even macabre mind journey into the core of imagination
There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It's a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of mans fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination, it's an area in which we call the Twilight Zone. Season one contains my favorite introduction to the show. As reviewed by many, the casing of the many discs is sub par, but for myself, taking out the Blue-Ray Disc's is easy. Thus far I've only watched a little more than two dozen episodes, and everyone has fantastic picture and sound quality. From 1959-1964, TV was a journey into the past, present and future, and the creator of "The Twilight Zone," Rod Serling set new standards for science fiction, horror and the bizarre in this fantastic TV series. Serling's introductions and conclusions to the episodes are fitting and his voice and writing seized my senses in many of the episodes. "The Printers Devil," starring Burgess Meredith as the devil is classic TV at its zenith. Exit the infernal machine and with it his satanic majesty Lucifer, Prince of darkness, aka Mr. Smith, Serling said at the conclusion of "The Printers Devil." These words spoken by Serling seized my imagination. Delicious dialogue is laden throughout many of the episodes, and it will be a long time before I view all 156 shows and that's OK for me. It's understandable "The Twilight Zone" was a stepping stone for many future Hollywood stars. The writing was gripping and sometimes disturbing, but always intriguing. Perfect for the month of October incidentally. The shows include original and remastered audio, and most of them have other special features. A booklet with an episode index would have been nice, but bravo to the CBS Studios 2021 remastering of this TV classic. If you've never seen any of these shows and appreciate witty dialogue and solid story lines, I highly recommend this Blue-Ray Disc set. "Time Enough at Last," "The Masks" are just a couple of the many episodes that have cemented themselves into the heart of time and real entertainment. As stated by Serling; Science fiction: the improbable made possible. Fantasy, the impossible made probable. What would you have if you put these two things together? Hearing these words in "The Fugitive" with Serling's signature voice will never cease my journey into the 5h dimension.

Still the Dimension of Imagination: The Twilight Zone – The Complete Series on Blu-ray
Some shows fade with time. Others, like Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone, only grow sharper, stranger, and more eerily prescient with age. Collected here in full and given a loving high-definition restoration, this Blu-ray set is not merely a box of discs—it’s a portal. The visual clarity is astonishing. The black-and-white film stock, once softened by time and television screens, now breathes with texture. Shadows loom deeper, faces more expressive. Watch the sweat bead on William Shatner’s brow in “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” or the twitch in Burgess Meredith’s fingers in “Time Enough at Last”—these are performances reborn in HD, rendered with an intimacy we were never meant to see… and are all the richer for it. And the stories—ah, the stories. Science fiction, horror, satire, parable. Each episode still plays like a polished gem carved from fear and hope, reflecting both the anxieties of the Cold War and the moral tremors of the human condition. Serling’s monologues remain among the most elegant words ever spoken on American television: philosophical, melancholy, and often quietly furious beneath their poetic cadence. The bonus features are generous: commentaries, interviews, radio dramas, and isolated scores that elevate the package to a full archival experience. This isn’t just a show you watch—it’s one you study, absorb, and carry with you. The packaging, while not egregious, leans functional over beautiful. Slim cases housed in a basic outer box—sturdy enough, but lacking the visual flair this series deserves. Still, it’s the content that matters, and it’s here in pristine, haunting clarity. Five stars. A masterclass in storytelling. A mirror held up to yesterday—and frighteningly, to today. Step inside… the Blu-ray edition of The Twilight Zone, and see how far imagination can go when it’s given no limits.

Great release! However please keep in mind.
This product offers excellent video and audio quality, making it a worthwhile purchase. The transfer and featurettes are top-notch, and I would have been content with just that. However, it’s important to note that this release uses a clamshell design that resembles a large book with pages. These pages, have two plastic pieces to hold the disc placed vertically on both sides. This packaging externally speaking is visually appealing but problematic in use. While the packaging looks attractive, it is highly impractical. The clamshell is flimsy, and the plastic holding the discs is overly tight, making it difficult to remove the discs without having the feeling you are about to damage or risk snapping the disc. Despite these issues with the packaging, the quality of the discs themselves is superb, and the high-fidelity presentation of this amazing series makes it worth the purchase however just keep in mine about the packaging and if you do decide to get this and feel confident in removing all the discs I recommend getting blank DVD cases or sleeves.

Get this set over DVD set, only about $20 more than DVD set on sale, so much better!
First of all, you may wonder why you should get the blu-ray version over DVD version for early B&W TV series? Even though B&W, these episodes are so much better, clearer and better than DVD release in every way. OK, that is to the quality of the disc set, now to the content. OMG, I was only 4 years old when this show first aired in 1959, as a kid I remember watching many of these shows on TV and it some scared the heck out of me! Watching them as an adult, I now realize the brilliance of this series. Rod Serling was a true genius, he wrote the majority of the episodes and although categorized as science fiction, these shows are so much more. Many, if not most, touch on topics that are still relevant today, they reflect on society, religion, government and our own failings as human beings. There is a reason this show is still popular 66 years after it first aired. I can not recommend this more highly, get it, take the time to watch the episodes one by one, you will come away a better person, a more understanding person, a compassionate person. And it may just wake up some of these sleeping brain cells. Do it!

This set is awesome!
I guess it is hit or miss with these sets because I was hesitant to order this set reading the reviews and seeing the pictures. I have not had any of the issues those reviews talk about. The case is not the best, the disk do fall out and are not secured in the case. The case however is not broken or anything, the Blu-Rays looks great and have no scratches. You get all five seasons, 156 episodes that look amazing on Blu-Ray. There are some cool extra features and in total the set is 24 Blu-Rays. For the price it is a great set! I have no complaints!

From the best writer , an American classic
Just started watching this, so massive I just watch a few at a time. Loved this show when I could see it. Mostly reruns. Black and white video, which can look amazing when done well. Why I bought an OLED tv the perfect black levels are unreal. They really did a job on this series. Quality is top shelf. Black and white suits this set, color would not set the mood properly. Who wouldn't enjoy this?
