super sturdy I have had these for about 5 years (through school and now practice) and through a flood lmao and my white penlight is still going strong. the batteries only need replacing once a year if that.

The pens have noise, but you wont notice it in a hospital! The bandage scissors are sharp too!

Love the scissors, as they are lightweight and flat to put into a pocket. They are still large, but understable so. Really meant for lightweight work. ***The pens I am on the fence. They are both great, but one is a bright light and one is a warm light. At first, I thought it was a warm (fluorescent) light, which is more acceptable for eye comfort, but it was hard to distinguish any yellowing in the skin or eyes. Hence, I was looking for a bright light (blue, clear light). However, when I tried the other pen, it was indeed a bright light. I hope that is part of the package: one bright and one warm light pen, by preference, but it is not disclosed. Which means it may be random, only based on the color of the pen case. So you may or may not have one blue light/one warm light, 2 warm lights, or 2 blue lights. Otherwise, the product is great, and the prints on the pens for measurement are not faded and do not chip so easily.

I mainly bought these for my orthopedic clinic to cut casting material, and the shears work perfectly. They're sharp, last a long time, and tough. They haven't let me down yet. The pen lights are decent lights too. One is a bright white LED, and the other is a yellowish color LED light. I like the white better, feel like it is brighter and gives me more visualization of the throat when I'm doing strep swabs in family med (I do float med with 8 specialties). Overall, great buy for the money!

Perfect for nursing school . I love these very much. The quality is amazing and it is very affordable. Definitely worth the hype 10/10

The scissors are top notch. Very sharp. I had some disposable from work that were awful and barely cut through rolled gauze. These fly through the rolled gauze like a breeze. The pen lights are good too. One is a "soft white" that is almost yellow. I'm not sure what the purpose of that one is, but all in all, I'm very pleased.
