Late review because I tossed it aside and forgot about it unfortunately, but product did not work from day one. It wouldn't connect to my launch pad vii and when I tried it on another vehicle it actually blew my ccn fuse. Upon inspection, found that one of the pins on the device where it plugs into the obd2 port was actually bent over touching another pin. Could smell something burning inside device so I opened it and found a component on the board itself had been fried so I don't know if the failure was already there or if the bent pin caused it. Either way its bs that someone can charge nearly $1000 for a product with such poor quality control. I bout this after spending close to $3000 on the pad vii. And I really needed a device for standalone ecm testing and coding hence why I purchased this. For the price of these two items and this one being junk from day one. I should have just went with autel. I know theres no chance of money back or replacement of the device with a functional one, so as far as im concerned its a rip off. Very disappointed.

So far its been absolutely useless. It can not do anything that the Autel can do. LAUNCH in general is pure GARBAGE will not let me program a key. It will not let me get to a spot where I can get the pin for a key to be programmed. BUYER BEWARE STAY FAR AWAY FROM LAUNCH AND ALL ITS PRODUCTS. THEY ARE A WASTE OF MONEY, TIME, AND RESOURCES. I WISH I HAD SPENT MY MONEY ON ANYTHING ELSE LITERALLY. LAUNCH, can't change VIN on ABS MODULE. CAN'T Change VIN on RF HUBS, cant program a key. Can't hardly use it offline. Always sends you to a YouTube video who rarely shows you anything useful. Contacting someone is useless and a waste of time because all they say is, LAUNCH cant do that. LAUNCH WAS A TERRIBLE INVESTMENT.

I personally own this product and to use it, you much know the pin and CS for VAG(Audi/VW/Seats/Skoda) cars, Pin Read FAILS unless have working key and sometimes even in that mode FAILS, some cars it can extract is only if you have a working key, if all keys lost forget it, again "IT DOESNT SUPPORT ALL KEY LOST FOR NO CARS, OLD OR NEW" this item cant help you, I have tried on cars I own, trust me a way cheaper tool does better. also will not get Immobilizer data from any ECU/Cluster/BCM over OBD, some will have ti bench and do soldiering... for Mercedes Benz doesn't support All keys lost, also cannot read or write aftermarket key so its totally useless.... as for Bench read for some ecu it will not read them at all, some the pin outs are totally wrong in the diagram and even with the right pinout it will say fail to enter service mode.... on VAG ME 7.1 each which is very old and easy to read Immobilizer data this product fails, also fails to get 7th byte for VAG Keys.. ECU Replacement function FAILED on 3 VAG ECU, even when I put on the Immobilizer data for both manually, vag gearbox FAILS, I have tried this device on the best launch tablet which is the Pad VII and the V+ same results.... this item is not ready may not for another year or so... by then updates will be up the roof

Lo conecte tal y como se indica con el x431 v y no hace nada y ahora no se si se necesita también el DBS para poder ejecutar la acción de inmo y programación de ecus ???? Por que ahí decia que si se puede sin el DBS
