Tips for Applying (for Enduring Wear)
I purchased and applied this tape almost two months ago and it still looks good, no corners peeling up or anywhere else. It is still stuck down as solidly as it was when I applied it. I have a few suggestions for those who are not familiar with applying adhesive tape to outside surfaces. 1. Make sure it is not too cold. I applied my tape when it was above 50 degrees. I don't think I would put this on any surface that is cooler than that, such as metal that may be much colder than the outside air. The warmer the better (to a certain point). 2. Make sure the surface is clean. I don't mean just brushing off the dirt, I mean wiping the surface down with a damp rag until the rag no longer picks up dirt. In other words, when you wipe a clean rag across the surface you get no dirt on the rag. I have an artificial wood surface, so I was able to also wipe the steps down with a window cleaner that contained alcohol. My steps were *ultra* clean. 3. Once I cut the size of tape I wanted, I snipped the corners a tiny bit so there wasn't a sharp corner to get kicked up. 4. Don't excessively handle the sticky side of the tape. This could reduce the tackiness of the adhesive. 5. Once down, don't lift the tape up unnecessarily. Apply plenty of pressure across the tape, but especially on the edges and corners. I walked across the tape several times to really get some good pressure. I've also posted a picture of the tape two months later in cold, snowy weather. It looks the same as the first day I put it down. I would buy this product again. That is, if I would ever need it again.

Good product and easy to install.
This product worked just great. I used it on my painted wooden steps going to the basement. The anti-slip tape was easy to cut and has good adhesion and the fifteen foot roll was plenty for the tewlve steps. I like the look of this four inch wide tape and it will be safer when going down the steps.

Worked perfect for the new addition to my house. Great stick and great size!
I added a deck and porch to the front and back of my house since the stairs are wood and get very slippery during times of rain/sleet/snow I decided to add some security to the stairs for me and my grandparents. They stick very well if you sand down the wood and clean up the sawdust before applying, this was perfect for a 4 foot strip on each set of stair. They stick well and bond quickly so far after a few weeks of being stepped on I have seen no sign of them coming up at the ends (like others have said)

Ok
The tape has a nice ability to stick on certain things I would think, I wrapped it around the grab bars in my shower for my wife to have a hand grip as she has had a stroke. Two of the wraps keep unwrapping. overall I am satisfied with the quality. My rating OK is simply for the small use I have need of. But I am sure it will adhere well for other needs

Don't apply in the fall
I needed this tape for the stairs up to the front door. Being in the great Northwest, we get a LOT of rain which makes wooden stairs basically a death trap. In comes traction tape, a great alternative to painting sand onto the steps (which I planned on doing until I saw this tape). I applied these during the fall when the wood wasn't dry after three days of sun... But I wanted it applied before the season's got worse. After the first day of rain, these did come up a bit, but general suction kept them applied to the board. I am sure if the wood wasn't damp when I applied them intially, there would be no problem of them moving around now. I am still very satisfied and pre-bought a second roll to apply appropriately. I also wanted to mention that this company gives great advise for applying this tape that came in quite handy.

Not Quite 30 Feet Long
The label indicates 4" x 30ft. I planned to install three, 10' sections and trusted the label when I cut the first, two lengths at exactly 10' each. I was unhappy to discover that the third section measured 4" short of 10'. So, my installation does not look as good as it might have. Otherwise the product seems to be OK. I applied the tape to a rough tile surface on a ramp leading up to my garage. This is in southern Viet Nam and it is really, really hot (~ 100°F). The tape performed perfectly. Update: Because the roll I received was a little short, the manufacturer contacted me immediately upon seeing this review and has offered to send me a replacement AND refund the purchase price. Thank you Tape King.

Very sticky and grippy
Used this to add traction to our basement steps (indoor). They are wooden and slightly unfinished but because our laundry is located in the unfinished basement, we use the steps quite frequently. Due to the steps being wooden and in an unfinished basement, they become slick when wearing socks and usually covered in dust so it can be dangerous when carrying a load of laundry. This tape was easy to cut with a utility knife, I pulled out the desired length for each step and sliced it on the wooden step. The paper back peels off very easily and the glue sticks to the floor and seems high quality. I would buy again if I had more steps to secure.

Very good non-slip tape
I built a wheelchair ramp for an elderly parent and the plywood ramp surface was potentially a bit slick, so I ordered a roll of this nonslip tape for better traction. The surface of the tape resembles approximately 80 to 100 grit sandpaper in feel and appearance. There was enough on the roll for 17 strips each about 18 inches wide and I still have some tape leftover. The tape provides excellent traction and has stuck well to the plywood surface. There are other nonslip tapes available that cost a lot more but this one did the job very well. I wonder if the tape works as sandpaper because if it does, it would be a very good value and easy to apply to a 4 inch wide sanding block. Recommended.

I was a little doubtful about this purchase because some reviewers have said the tape came off and didn't remain stuck to the floor. Perhaps they didn't clean the floor before applying the tape because I have had no problem. It's stuck firmly on my bathroom floor and doesn't come off.

This is really durable for outside and the thickness is also nice. I used it for my outdoor steps and it is really good and I can say it is absolutely value for money. The only small problems I have seen are: - Whenever we are trying to cut out maybe there should have been some pre-cut or something so that it would be easier to reopen the stickers. Apart from that everything is good, like gorilla grip.
