The smell and taste are exactly what you’d expect from a cherry nighttime medication — an artificial cherry scent that reminds me of cherry hard candy. Not amazing, not terrible, just standard and easy enough to get down. Amazon lists the inactive ingredients right on the label, and while it’s still an over-the-counter medicine, it doesn’t have any odd fragrances or menthol added. It’s the typical mix you’d expect from nighttime formulas — nothing harsh-smelling or overwhelming. One thing to note: this version doesn’t include a nasal decongestant. If you primarily have a runny or congested nose, look for the Severe version. But for nighttime aches, fever, cough, and general “I feel terrible” symptoms, this works exactly the way it should. For the price, it’s great to keep on hand for cold and flu season.
