Decking Applicator Kit with Two Dual Layer Fluffy Decking Pad for Wooden Decks, and Flat Pad for Shed & Fence − Decking Oil Applicator with 120cm Metal Handle and Paint Tray (Complete Kit)

I used the Decking Applicator Kit with the two dual layer fluffy decking pads on my wooden decking and it made the whole job so much easier. The pads hold a good amount of stain and spread it evenly, giving a smooth, professional-looking finish without streaks. It saved time, reduced mess, and my deck looks refreshed and well-coated. Definitely a great buy.

Handle feels cheap and flimsy but for a one use style item it worked well to restain a 5 by 5 meter deck the head part after was pretty much destroyed and I dont think could ever be used again and repeatedly came off during the job but still faster and easier than doing it all with a standard brush. I think the sponge head will be OK to paint some high walls and might be reusable but I won't hold my breath.

Very happy with purchase did exactly what i wanted to stain decking bought attachment brush for fence too and it was well made and good quality. Having bought others before this was much sturdier and hard wearing very happy customer. Made my job much easier.

Starts off brilliant, great coverage and fast, if you have a small decking this is for you! For larger decking though the fluffy applicator stops getting into grooves, causing you to have to push harder, which then breaks the handle… I would be inclined to use a normal decorating one next time.

Used this to apply decking oil to grooved decking ,thought this would be easier than a brush.Even though I poured the oil into the tray lightly dipped the pad in it soaked up far too much oil.The pad also didn’t get into the grooves and kept coming off when I applied pressure and the handle kept coming apart. I gave up and used a brush.

Absolutely awful, didn't get into the grooves,and the pad kept sliding off even while it was 'locked ' in place. Pole kept on loosening so gave up in the end, would not recommend this product.

Bought to oil the cedar panelling around the patio. If you move sideways slightly the pad slides out of the holder and its a right faff to get the oily pad back in the holder. I was only doing 2 sides of a patio and the flat pad had virtually disintegrated half way through the process. I ended up taping a wide paint brush to the pole and using that to finish. The pole and tray are useful but the pads themselves aren't fit for purpose. This was smooth cedar wood and they just disintegrated leaving bits of foam everywhere.

First attempt and pulling out then new back i used cheese cloth, messy and took ages. Second application i used a large scrubbing brush (soft), again a mess and on my hands and knees (I’m 65, it hurt). I purchased this decking applicator, WHAT A DIFFERENCE , half the decking first coat in less than twenty minutes. Using the fluffy head ensures the oil is brushed into the decking grooves FANTASTIC! 😀👍 All I’m waiting on now is for it to dry before i do the rest. Update having finished the job: After two coats of oil to our deck the pad is in need of replacement. Design improvement: One comment that I need to make is the tab that stops the head sliding sideways out of its holder is not big/robust enough. Any sideways movement and the pad slides out, resulting in mess as it needs reinserting by hand, a slight redesign of the tab would crack this issue.
