Candle Making DIY Kit

I was not worried about all that I got with the lot, it was the best price for the pitcher and heater I found. But wow you really do get a lot to start making candles, it great for a beginner like me to learn how to do it without spending a ton of money. The kits comes with all the stuff you need to begin candle making, I did not use the tins so I can not rate those. I used my little Oiu yogurt glass containers. I bought the yogurt as BOGO and thought, these would make great candles, I live in Florida and with hurricanes we like to have candles handy all the time. So I made my first candles, they were so easy, really easy. I melted the wax, which was really quick to do, I was able to pour the wax right into the glass jars and I let them sit overnight. I was able to make a two tone as well by filling the jar half way in one color, letting it dry, then doing another color the next day. So neat. I was afraid to try the dried flowers as I have read reviews, maybe not on this one, but I read that they caught fire. Well I lit my candle and waited for the wax to get the the flowers, nothing happened, which is great, then I tilted the candle slowly to see if the flame would catch it on fire, but nothing. That made me feel good. Not that I am going to use them in all my candles, but it is good to know nothing will happen. I did buy some new coloring, I wanted more of a variety, I bought Mica Powder, wow just a little goes a long way. I am very please with the set, You get a lot to get started and then you will go from there once you learn how to make candles, it is a lot of fun and soooooo easy to do.

I make some beautiful candles with this kit

The wax melting pot is half the size of other kits, so takes longer to melt more wax when doing candle making with more than 2 people. All the candles we made with the wax that came in this kit catered and fell. Very disappointing. The candles I've made with soy wax from another kit didnt do that. The scents and colors are nice that are included in the kit. Overall, a nice kit, just needs better wax which is the whole of the candle.

Not real essential oils. They don’t smell like they should. The rose scent might but the rest don’t. There is a scent to the dies as well. I got this hoping the description was correct that it would have real essential oils. Otherwise we love it.

Everything we needed to make 16 candles!! This is a great kit. The wax is beeswax. There is enough wax and jars to make 16 cute candles. Even comes with cute boxes you can put a candle in if you’re giving it as a gift. The instructions are very easy to follow. I’m really happy with this kit. It will also make a great gift!!

Multiple bags of wax, wicks, candle jars, 6 different potent fragrances that made the box itself an absolute pleasure to open, etc. 2. Price: Comparable products at an arts/crafts or hobbies store are much more expensive with fewer items in the package. I bought this candle making kit as a present for my wife, We live in the UK but when opening the box there was not a uk plug attached to the hot plate (just a two pin plug) Fortunatley I had a two pin shaver socket that fitted. The hot plate heated up for a very short amount of time then stopped and would not reheat. I then noticed that the voltage was 110v not the required 240v for the uk. This means the the hot plate that was part of the kit was of no use and should have been highlighted prior to purchase. Not at all happy.

Heat pad not compatible with UK plug socket, different wattage. Had to purchase a separate heat pad from another company.
