Vtech DS6151 Base with 3 Additional DS6101 Cordless Handsets Bundle

Purchased this base-plus-three, along with another extension for home and hobby-business use, which demanded the two-line capability. This system interfaces with two VoIP lines that share a Grandstream HD802 VoIP adapter. This system also replaced an aging Uniden 5Ghz cordless system that had trouble penetrating more than three or four sheetrock walls. The new vTech has very good range, and works flawlessly with the VoIP lines (remember: adapter required!), and already we've had contacts tell us that the voice quality is much more natural than experienced with calls on the old system. Moreover, this vTech has a built-in digital voicemail/answerer that obviates another box sitting alongside. The only feature of the old system that I miss is the ability to program each handset with the ability to connect to the ringing incoming line as soon as the handset is picked up. This vTech makes you push a button to answer a call. But as I was grumbling about this, another user extolled the virtues of being forced to push the button, as the handset can be grabbed, the caller-ID checked, and then one can take the phone into another room for privacy (or ignore the call) without prematurely (or inadvertently) answering it. That makes good sense and I can appreciate that reasoning.

They are a fine set of phones, no wall mount and the buttons DO TAKE GETTING USED TO!!! BUT they really are a good product!

We had the same model from years ago and replaced it and it worked identically, so set up was unnecessary. Good experience.

The sound quality is great. They phones are nice and are easy to set up. Some things setting up like voice mail and stuff where a bit difficult. But besides that they are quite nice.

BRWARE! on the headstone for this product should read "POS"! Will not keep time, sound is only slightly better than Tin can and a string, but not by much! We have tried everything to get this item to work even read the instruction! by another phone from anyone else!

Purchased for small business office and auto technicians! Great phone system!! Easy set up!!!! Had AT&T system which was always giving us problems. Hopefully, this system will last!!! So far, so good!!!!

Everything works fine. Box base came in was unsealed. Can tell phone and base were used and returned because there are scratches on the screen and the phone already had the battery installed and screen protector removed. Additional phones were new in box. For the price, we should have received all new product. We’re not told is was used or refurbished.

The numbers and letters are to small . Had to go back to my old phone use the new one as a sssstand by.

The caller ID does not work

El producto es bueno, programarlo fue fácil y rápido. Las bases de los teléfonos adicionales son muy ligeras y se caen con facilidad, tuve que fijarlas con velcro.

When calling out friends complained about an echo, hearing their voices back. I called service but was unable to get the problem fixed, so i returned the system.
