Essential tool for 410A charging
Well built vaporizer for liquid to vapor charging of 410A. Does have a check valve - would not flow backwards. Install on suction line at manifold. Speeds up charging and protects compressor.

Great construction for the product.
I want to give it five stars, however I have yet to use it, so I will hold it in reserve until then. I purchased it in anticipation of my season of AC unit installs this summer. I didn’t need it, but I wanted to have one on hand just in case. It’s nice and durable, great threads, has adaptor and ready to go.

Does not flow.
Finally used this, does not flow. I ended up slow charging with vapor on the low side in the middle of the job. It was past the return window so it’s gonna become waste.

Good investment!
This appeared to perform as intended, vaporizing the R410a refrigerant while charging my ac unit. I had some difficulty getting a pressure reading when attached to my low side gauge port so I connected it directly to the refrigerant tank. As another reviewer commented liquid does appear in the gauge sight glass. However, upon bleeding the refrigerant line only fine vapor appeared to flow. Overall, I would recommend this product which made charging the system much faster without overloading the compressor.

It does keep the refrigerant in a liquid form instead of feeding gas into your system when charging. Which speeds up the charging process. Works with all gauges but I have used it with digital yellow jacket gauges.

Paired with my Yellow Jacket 42201 Series 41 Manifold
I bought the Yellow Jacket 42201 Series 41 Manifold and added this to it. Worked great and charged my ductless mini-split just fine. I would buy again.
