These are great little study cards. They're made well. The images are clear. They've held up to the messiness and rough treatment of the children. These have been a valulable learning aid.

This is a good item to start a very young child on. It would give him a Headstart in learning.

All the information is on the cards. The cards are larger than expected. These cards would be great for younger children, not High Schoolers. The picture examples are elementary. This set is not a HS "carry around to study set."

I am so happy with these cards, they are very well made and they keep my sons attention for hours . What 5 year old wakes up in the morning excited to tell his mother that his favorite element of the day is Pb , which he then informs me is lead ? My kid does! (I know lead not necessarily a good thing , but his love of learning the elements is) his favorite element changes everyday . My son has created many games with these cards that I could never think of and uses his imagination to pretend the cards are make believe people and sets up scenes where an element is trouble and needs to be rescued or helped by another element. We play periodic table hunt , where I take 26 elements at a time and hide them around the apartment and he finds them and identifies each one. We put the cards on the floor in a messy pile and pick one, read what it is , and what it is used for then toss in a bucket . My son likes to play director like James Cameron, so he sets up some element cards that are going to be in his “movie” and yells cut when one of the elements doesn’t do what was asked of them. Lol Anyways , my point is that I never knew how much fun flash cards could be , but my son did a small report for school on Albert Einstein and in his report he used one of Einstein’s quotes “Imagination is everything” my son added to that saying “ I think he was right and we should use imagination every day” well, he showed me!

Flash cards are one quick way to learn for me, to get used to simple things so I can more easily learn the other stuff
