Lexar has been one of my go to brands for USB sticks and memory cards for many years. They've never let me down, whereas other brands have. I felt confident in buying a Lexar M.2 SATA module for my laptop. This went into the spare M.2 slot in my laptop to provide some extra storage space. Not all laptops will have two (but mine did). Well made and connected fine. Performance is good.

This was purchased as a backup drive for apple time machine to constantly use via a USB C enclosure. It was a reasonable price, high speed access to data and its lasting nicely, i would recommend this to anyone looking for general storage in a PC, laptop or an external enclosure, just check the speeds are in line with your requirements because there are huge differences between similar looking products, this one is pretty good without the need for the extremely high speeds that some lines of work require..

Got this at a decent price (although it seems to have got even cheaper now, doh!) and is currently used as additional storage for game/data files etc., so not a system drive. Seems absolutely fine for that job. Stuck it in a PCIe adapter so it doesn't have a dedicated heatsink but so far haven't seen any issues with thermal throttling. Certainly not the speediest of drives but perfectly adequate for what I need. I have marked it down by one purely due to the fact that looking at today's price, I feel a tad robbed.

I used this in a new PC that I built, and being a first-time system builder I had quite a bit to learn. Installing this was easy - just plug into the connector on the MoBo and gently push down at the other end to secure it with the provided screw. You cannot connect it the wrong way because these devices are designed to make that nigh on impossible. But it's all about the performance, not the ease of install! It performs very well, the computer boots up in no time at all and is immediately usable with no waiting around beforehand. I dual boot Ubuntu (currently 22.04, Jammy Jellyfish) and Windows 11, and both systems work very well.

Easy upgrade for wifes laptop. Used external NVMe carrier and Macrium. Transfered everything across. Resized windows partition for extra space. Take apart. One screw later swap 256 for 512 and everything including the remastered partition all swapped. Store original safe. Really simple. Really easy.

Tenías ganas de encontrar un disco duro NVMe de calidad a un precio competitivo. Y la verdad es que 99 euros que me costó el disco de 2 tb no puedo estar mas contento. El ordenador ha dado un salto cualitativo en cuanto a velocidad y más fácil imposible a la hora de ponerlos. Realicé una clonación de disco y a las mil maravillas. No había comprado nada de esta marca pero hasta ahora un 10 en cuanto a facilidad y rendimiento.

Si eres de los que todavía no tienes instalado un disco del tipo SSD, te recomiendo que hagas el cambio lo antes posible, porque no sabes lo que te pierdes en rendimiento y agilidad. En este caso, este SSD firmado por Lexar, en su gama profesional y del tipo M.2 2280, con PCLe Gen3x4 con unas velocidades de lectura y escritura escalofriantes (todo depende también de la placa que tengamos y compatibilidad) alcanzando los 3500 MB/s en lectura y 2000 MB/s en escritura, una locura. El NM700 está construido con 3D NAND flash en su interior. 3D NAND es una tecnología de memoria flash de última generación en la que las celdas de memoria se acumulan de forma vertical con el fin de aumentar la capacidad, lo cual proporciona una densidad de almacenamiento mucho mayor y un menor costo por gigabyte. Otra de las grandes ventajas, es que, al no tener funcionamiento mecánico como un disco convencional, no produce ni sonidos, ni tanto gasto energético y esto se traduce en una bajada también en la temperatura de trabajo. La instalación es muy sencilla, solo encajarlo en la ranura pertinente, y ponerle un tornillo para su fijación. Al encender el ordenador, si vemos que no lo reconoce, solo tenemos que entrar al administrador de discos y asignarle un nombre y formato. En mi caso, tenía un portátil para estudiar mi hija, el cual tenia un SSD de 256GB y se lo he sustituido por este de 512GB para aumentar el tamaño de almacenaje, como el rendimiento. El SSD que venía, es bueno, aunque comparado con este nuevo, parece que sea del paleolítico, pasando en lectura de 510 MB/s a 1808 MB/s, mejora mas que evidente. En mi ordenador de sobremesa, tengo un SSD convencional, pero visto los buenos resultados me estoy planteando pasarme a este tipo de M.2 2280 y añadir ese toque de velocidad y vigorosidad a la hora de cargar, editar, jugar, etc. Tanto si tienes Slot para su colocación como si no (se venden carcasas para poder conectarlo mediante USB) es un componente altamente recomendable, y este me ha enamorado.
