I ordered this because I love a cup of tea in the evening, but I'm the only one who does. My husband occasionally likes a cup, so we have a bigger 10 cup teapot, but that's way too big and bulky for my nightly tea. This holds exactly one coffee-cup worth of tea (so like, 2 actual teacups worth). It arrived packaged VERY well, not only wrapped, but taped together. It's rinsed out nightly, and then ran through the dishwasher twice a week. It's held up amazingly well. I won't hesitate to order it again if this one should break. Very cute and perfect for just one person.

I like this tea kettle and when using the blooming tea I love to see them blossom in the boiling water. The kettle can only hold a little over half a cup of water, anything beyond that, it will spit out the kettle through the spout when the water begins to boil. The kettle is really small, it is for personal use, you will have to boil water more than once if looking to fill a whole cup or make more than one serving. The kettle is easy to clean, I use soap and warm water to clean it but I have noticed it is beginning to stain. There is a yellow coloring around the rim of the kettle. I have not had an issue with having it on the eye until it reaching boiling temperature. The kettle is well made and has no cracks. The kettle comes in three pieces and the strainer has small slots at the bottom allowing liquid flavoring to escape while keeping the tea bag or loose leaf tea inside. The lid stays on while boiling and the kettle does not whistle during the process. It is a good kettle, the only con is the size and it spitting out if overfilled.

I bought this little teapot so I could watch my flower tea open up. It is such a joy to watch it bloom. Putting it in a cup did not allow for a nice viewing. The teapot is very fragile feeling so I handle it with special care. I had not realized at first that it comes with a little reservoir to hold loose tea. That will also be nice. Teas have varying colors so it will be fun to see the hue of the different looseleaf teas I have. The little teapot also looks very sweet up in my hutch.

Cute design, but the glass is so thin, it was broken in box upon arrival. I’m going to spend a little more and hopefully get better a quality tea pot.

This is such a beautiful, fragile, and perfect teapot. It brews a good pot of tea and being clear glass, I can watch the strength I want it to be. VERY satisfied

This is a lovely item but was a little mall for the need as a gift to a couple. It's a one person serve. I must have missed the size.

I have not used the included infuser. I steep my tea in the cup. THe handle remains cool, however, it is a little slick. I wrapped some leather lace on the handle to it wouldn't slip while pouring the water into the cup. TRUST ME: "when" (not "if") your knuckle hits the side of the pot after nuking to a boil/near boil ... it HURTS! With the lid on, water to the bottom of the handle top ... about an inch from the brim ... it only takes 2 minutes 45 seconds for a rolling boil, in a ~1500 Watt microwave. I'm happy with it. I live alone, so one cup at a time is not an issue for me. If you over-fill, the water will boil out the spout
