Private Pilot FAA Knowledge Test Prep – 2022 Edition

This book really helped me pass the exam. My test scores were horrible after completing the online course, but after reviewing this book for 4 days, I passed the exam.

As a CFI for 30 + yrs , format has changed over the years. This is a great study guide .

I passed the faa written private pilots test with the help of this book. Very highly recommended!!

It would be nice is some of the graphs were larger, but overall extremely good prep for the FAA test.

Got this book at the end of September to prepare my PPL written.I passed yesterday, 5 weeks after with a 98%

I tabbed it out took it to work studied it and took my written with it!

First and foremost let me start off by saying that my background is in nursing, not aviation or engineering. This is my first taste of general aviation and so far so good! Great concepts included in each study unit outline. Explanations are a little wordy at times. I supplemented this book with YouTube, additional free practice questions (the book has a ton in each study unit) and the FAA Pilot Handbook to increase my knowledge base and comfortability with concepts. I wish I would’ve purchased Sporty’s private pilot package because theirs included all of the FAA books as well as lifetime access to class material and apps available for iPhone, iPad, smart tv, etc. I also purchased Sporty’s E6B electronic flight computer as well as a manual E6B flight computer as I plan to add instrument rating after PPL. Nevertheless, I’m confident I can pass the written PPL exam with the aforementioned items.
