52 Whole Room Air Circulator Fan with 3 Speeds, Black

I use a fan in my bedroom for two reasons. I like to circulate the air and I need ambient noise to sleep. I was reticent to get such a small fan because I’ve always used large oscillating fans. I’ve had this for most of a month and I am very pleased to say I’ll not be going back. Regarding air movement; unlike my oscillating fan I don’t point this directly at me but pointed upward to circulate the air, which is apparently what these are made for. I’ve tried placing this on the ground and on a chest of drawers and in both cases really enjoyed how well it works. Instead of a constant stream of air blowing directly on me, this creates almost an ambient breeze effect. Pointed at the ceiling, I feel air gently wafting past me, almost like I’m by a lake or ocean and the breeze is blowing. I’ve also noticed this has helped to distribute heated air around my bedroom more evenly. As for the sound effect, it’s really the best of both worlds. The low and medium settings are extremely quiet. This is great for daytime if you need to hear others talking or just don’t want a loud fan going in your room during waking or sleeping hours. At night I put this on high. I get a medium level white noise effect from it. It’s similar to having a small sound machine in the corner. I would say it’s comparable to a window ac unit on medium. If you need extremely loud white or ambient noise to sleep, this isn’t for you. However for most people that want a moderate level, this is perfect and the fan aspect is excellent. Perfect on top of fridge to circulate the air in the apartment kitchen. Surprising small powerhouse. Low to medium speed is usually sufficient. A bit loud on high speed. Exactly what was needed. Arrived quickly and in great condition. Would order again.

I have a few of these fans strategically place that circulate air very well throughout the appartment. Cleaning them at the end of the season can be challenging but worth it.

Does a good job circulating the air in large bedroom!

I bought my first small tabletop Vornado fan about five years ago for my seed starting unit. It's an amazing product. I just bought two more to take the place of window fans and it's still an amazing product. My single complaint is that, while my first Vornado had a speed dial that was on a continuum where you could choose any speed, the new ones only have three choices. I really miss having more control and wonder why they made this change. Still such a good fan that I didn't want to take a star off. Still worth every penny to have the kind of circulation this fan has, and its quietness. The window fans I got last year are horribly loud even on the lowest setting, and, from what I've read, most of the new window fans are like that. SO worth it to spend more on a Vornado.

I love this fan. This is one of my go to brands. They last for years. I keep one in my bathroom to dry my mirrors after a long hot shower. They move a lot of air on high or just enough on low to dry my lashes.Perfect on the corner of my sink. Looks great.

It’s not the quietest fan, but I love white noise to sleep. It doesn’t rattle or anything, it’s just the air sound. This thing emits some serious wind!!! It does not oscillate, so if you need that, find another fan. I have it on my dresser in the bedroom. I turn it on at bedtime and aim it directly on me. Love it!!
