This book is amazing! I love when an author is straight to the point. I love the “not a fan” stories that are added at the end of the chapters. These are real people who are committed to following Jesus. After reading this book I better understand my calling as a follower of Jesus and I am committed to not being just a fan of Jesus but to follow Him in all areas of my life. Kyle idleman is awesome i first read this book in prison it was missing pages and one day i told myself I would read it again. I'm now residing in louisville ky where his church is i now have the opportunity to read. It follow jesus deeper,God is good book came.the same.day. Thank you Jesus

I couldn’t stop reading this book as it was very interesting. For most of my life I have been a ‘Christian or Fan’. Even at 75 I what to be a follower of Jesus. I the lest number of years I have learned more about the God, His Son Jesus and Holy Spirit than in the first 50 years of my life.

This is a great book that explains how Christ wants each of us to live our lives for Him. Being a Christian is much deeper that what the average Christian thinks. Some Christians are more spiritual than others, and is that important? Well, a wise person, I think, would consider the question seriously. This is the important issue Kyle Idleman addresses in this book. In the New Testament, people are called to believe the Gospel and to follow Jesus Christ. Idleman explains with many interesting examples and illustrations the difference between being a mere “fan” of Christ, and a true “follower.” He presents the call of Christ for the believer to be His disciple and to follow Him. Idleman does this by way of presenting many scriptures that teach that every believer is called to be a true follower. I found this book to be both convicting of my walk with the Lord, as well as a blessing. It is well written, and not a difficult read at all. I pray that every member in my church congregation, as well as all my family and friends would read it without delay.

This book has truly made me sit up and think and reflect am I truly a follower. Yeah this book is encouraging that it's a daily invitation not a one time event. It's also encouraging like a coach on the side line saying c'mon get back in the game your a follower your chosen your precious your His

This is a must see film for all people. It will challenge and make you reflection on your understanding of where your walk with God is.

I read this book as an adult leading and working with teens and some of the key student leaders were also challenged to read it. It has been a great read and challenge to all of us on taking our journey with God to a more than ordinary level. A great book for mentorship.
