Thank You, God

My one and two year old daughters love this book. It is a beautiful prayer of Thanks to God for friends, family, our homes, nature, for Jesus and his relationship with us. It has a powerful message. It has adorable illustrations. And it has subject matter that is real and meaningful to young children.

We love the simple yet meaningful sentences. We have a copy and read it often before bed sort of like a prayer. Our was originally given to my son as a baby. We still read it together now as he is 7yo. I purchased this copy for my nephew/Godson. I know we'll get use out of it for years to come.

This book is super sweet and thoughtful. I have bought this book for many presents and also receive wonderful feedback. The illustrations in this book are great but the words and story are the best. This author is great!

This book is perfect for children! It does a wonderful job of showing kids to be thankful for things big and small. This is one of the many books that we have by this author but I have to say it's quickly become the favorite! If you are looking for a book that can really capture the attention of a toddler (like my two year old) and can still communicate the concept of being thankful to God than this is perfect for you.

Precious poems. Beautiful illustrations. Boys and girls can relate. Sweet to read at breakfast time or bedtime. Tells of values and what we are grateful for. I bought 6 to give as gifts. Check out other books from P.K. Hallihan as well.

My two year old and I love this book. Every night when we say our prayers together, I read her this book and she loves the pictures and story. It is so hard to find good books like this these days. The author does such a great job of making it simple for kids to understand everything that they should be thankful to God for. I highly recommend this book.

This is the absolutely cutest children's book of all time! It is a treat for anyone who wishes to remain grateful for all the Lord has given us. Adults love it to, we will read it over and over again!

I thought this was a pretty cute book to read to my almost 1 year old son. I think the pictures are a little old fashioned, but nothing off-putting about them. The text is in a rhyming, almost sing-song format, so it's pretty easy to breeze through. I think it teaches a nice message about thankfulness to God for the things that are in and around your life, nature, and people. The only verse that bothers me is when it says, "Thank you for angels I can't really see, but somehow I'm certain keep watch over me." I guess it's harmless, but for some reason I could do without that verse. Other than that, it's a good, short read for bedtime!
