Accurate right out of the box
Great level I ran three loops with it all closed at one hundredth of a foot

Excelent clarity, and solid build quality
Excelent clarity, and solid build quality. Also the chevron pointing to the middle stadia line is a very nice touch, especially when laying RCP at night when it can be very easy to misread a shot.

lose spring
I’ve now ordered this product twice, and both times I’ve had the same issue. There’s a loose spring inside that rattles whenever I move it, which makes me question whether the compensator is functioning properly at all. For something that’s supposed to improve performance, this feels poorly made and unreliable. Very disappointing to have the same defect twice in a row. I’ll be returning it again and looking for a better-quality alternative.

Great level.
This took about 10 minutes to set up and is spot on accurate. Instrument is easy to focus and sight. My only gripe is that the bubble level is set in clear fluid on a white target. Its hard to see the bubble and could be made easier if the fluid was tinted yellow or blue. Its a big enough issue to drop 1 star.

Easy setup and excellent accuracy
This is actually the first transit level I've ever bought though I've used multiple others. This is the easiest one I've ever setup and used and the greatest magnification which is more valuable than I'd realized it would be. No regrets whatever on spending a little more.

Poor quality control
Bought a GOL32 Automatic Optical Level Kit ** CERTIFIED REFURBISHED ** RECONDITIONED LIKE NEW BY BOSCH, Still came with defective base plate and adjustment screw. Poor quality control.

Got the level. Boxed properly. No damage. Performed a collimation on 52m and read the rod, made the calculus and got 1mm on both directions. Basically no error on the equipment. Initially I thought this will not see beyond 60m, but now I really think I can measure up to 120m. The only thing that can induce errors is the fact that the rod cannot be read and interpreted properly if it's too far. I would expect measurement errors beyond 80m for sure, but not something that would worry me. For the purpose, this is just perfect. Some things are not as good as Leica, like the bubble that is perfect when adjusted, then you can see it off when rotated 180 degrees, but still inside the circle. But, again, Leica is more expensive for the same power... Bosch nailed it on the collimation...
