What's the top width, bottom width, and length?

The Tena Men Protective Shield measures about 5” across the top, 2” across the bottom, and 6” from top to bottom. The amazing thing is that it is only 1/8” thick when dry. I believe the absorbent material inside is gel based. It can swell to about a half inch thick when wet. The inner liner protects you from the moisture when it is wet. I have used the comparable Depends pad. It starts out at about a half inch thick when dry. I believe their absorbent material is paper based. When it gets wet it starts to deteriorate and I would recommend changing it right away when it does to avoid irritation. Even though the Tena is more expensive I believe it is still a better value in that it can be worn wet for hours if need be without irritation.

Are theser the black thin pads, or the white ultra thin, cardbord like ones?

These are the black thin pads, not cardboard-like at all.

How is the adhesive on this product? The Depends brand isn’t sticky and falls out. Embarrassing.

I have used these for at least 6 months (allergic to something in the Depends product) and the adhesive (and absorbent) works very well (never let go) in cotton underwear. I have had to order the "Light" version since I have not been able to find this version in local stores (even vendors listed by TENA). I am concerned that they are not going to continue to be available in the US and no other product I've found works as well for something so nonintrusive.

I sometimes leak more than I want, will these work or should I get they moderate ones?

I used these after I had a TURP procedure on my prostrate, I would leak every day and they worked fine for me, in fact they were very comfortable to wear. Hope this helps

Like many of you, I have researched the various pads since I had prostate surgery on May 17, 2024. I am only interested in the best pad that can make recovery easiest and most comfortable. I have attached photos of the 3 pads that I have used since the surgery, numbered 1 to 3 in order of 1st to current (3). I have tried other pads too but only chose the top 3 in descending order. The TENA brand seems the best quality and design, though all pads meet the need. 1- Amazon Basics, Pantiliner 2- TENA 50600 Leakage Protection Bladder- Moderate (3 drop) 3- TENA Men Protective Shield Extra light (good quality for advanced status with my minor leakage) Hope this personal experience helps.
