1 to 2 Splitter(10")

I use this on a Jackery power station to allow me to power an Astrophotography mount and telescope (ASIAir & camera). This is far better than using an AC power adapter on the power station - it is much more efficient. Works flawlessly in this situation. The only potential concern is that the charger ports fit snugly into this splitter - in my case I wrapped some electrical tape around each connection to prevent them from being pulled apart, just to make sure the system keeps running through any bumps. Overall, a nice, simple solution.

This has worked fantastic and fit my needs. I drive an older car with only one electric outlet and the other is a cigarette lighter so the need for a dual outlet was required. This has been great and plugs in both my charger and the car play. It also continues to allow my phone to fast charge which is a huge bonus!

Quality, runs my radar detector and dash cam as there is only one 12v plug in my car.

I can now connect my Garmin Nuvi 1350 GPS and my backseat headrest fan (to cool my dog in back with no rear a/c vents) at the same time in my 1995 Toyota Corolla DX automobile. This car only has one factory 12VDC cigar lighter socket in front. No dedicated power outlets. The adapter's metal socket interior walls have slick surfaces so I don't know how long the plugs will maintain good connections driving down the road. A few pieces of tape might be in order but we'll see. This unit replaces an old, clunky Radio Shack splitter (with a oversize dual socket body on a swivel plug) that had no leads from the plug to the socket pair. The Radio Shack unit's sockets also have slippery inner socket walls. This old oversize Radio Shack unit took up space in the console area and obstructed the pull-out cup holder in the dash or it hit me in the right knee depending upon how it was positioned. The long leads on this new unit allow the two bulky sockets to hang down off the console on the passenger side. I still keep the old Radio Shack unit handy to plug into one of the sockets of the new adapter in case I need a total of three power outlets. I might need to also charge my telephone someday on a long road trip.

Have been using this in my car for a little over 2 years, I run LED interior lights and a radar detector with it. It does the job.

It has an LED to indicate when it’s connected which is nice, it also supposedly has a built in fuse. The wires are nice and sturdy. Just pay attention to the rating of this device, don’t try and overload it and don’t overload when your car outlet can handle. It’s easy to overload it quickly if you plug in 2x 5amp seat heater pads and put them to max heat which brings you to most cars 120 watt (12voltx10amp) limit on the port. I only have one 12v in my car and recently got a small seat heat pad and wanted a free port still for charging, 12v system voltage display etc.

I bought this splitter so I could plug in my refrigerator and charge my phone. Unfortunately after a couple months, it no longer worked. I was beyond the return date so I took it apart to see what was going on. What I found is on the part that goes into the cigarette lighter the spring that pushes the center plunger had gotten hot. Collapsing and loosing all of its springiness. Preventing good contact. So even though it has heavy wiring, it can't really handle 5 amps. Edit. I removed the male plug and wired it to a fuse. The female ends have held up well.

I have bought several of these over the past 4-5 years. They work great. The cords are a good size--not too long to be in the way but long enough to reach what I want to plug in. I have used them inside and outside and in humid and salty environments. Unlike other brands, these have held up well.

I do not have any complaints about this product. It is all good.
