Easy to use, helps keep your dressing independence.
Purchased for my husband with very arthritic hands. He's having issues with buttoning his flannel shirts which even for regular folks can be challenging as flannel button holes are stiff. Having this tool has helped us both. On the bad days when I have to help him dress, this tool makes it much easier for me to button his shirts. Without the tool I struggle too. Just slip that crooked wire through the hole and around the button and pull with the handle while holding onto the fabric and VOILA! Works like a charm. I ended up buying one for our neighbor with Parkinson's and now he's able to zip up his jacket without his wife doing it for him.

THIS IS A MIRACLE PRODUCT! BUY NOW!!! My mom asked me to write this review. She always likes to wear button up blouses but due to neuropathy in her hands, it has been taking her up to an hour to put one on. Also, takes her a very long time to zip up any pants. She saw a similar item in a printed catalog. I looked here on Amazon and found this one instead. MUCH BETTER! Sturdy, easy to grasp, AND IT WORKS! Not as easy to use as described.
The orientation of the handle and the part that slips thru the buttonhole are “fixed” for one hand only. I subsequently saw another one that appears to be usable for either hand. However, using these things is far easier to show than to do. The buttonholes have to be large enough to allow the wires to pass through then to pull a button back thru the buttonhole, not an easy feat with arthritic hands.

Still weak after an stroke and my jeans were super hard to button with my right hand but this thing helped alot specially when im going out and need to use the bathroom i used to call someone on my family to help me out with my pants so I could get me embarrassed all the time it simply works after a figure out to do it quick
