I have never left a negative review in my life so I am leaving this review reluctantly... The product is fine as long as you keep it in your house. It works as it should, its attractive enough, no problems.... As long as you don't leave it in the car during any winter months. I work out of my vehicle and needed something like this to organize some paperwork. I got into my work van one cold morning and started the vehicle. While it was warming up I grabbed the organizer to go over some work for the day. As soon as I opened it, it literally shattered in my hands. Yes it was below freezing temperature, but it wasn't -50° below. It was maybe 30°. The thicker blue plastic absolutely disintegrated in cold weather. Cracks started at the top hinge part and split throughout the entire item before I realized what happened. Maybe leaving it in the car is misusing it, I don't know. But I expected it to be a little more durable. I used it twice, on the 2nd day it shattered - Buyer beware. If you live in a warmer climate or plan on taking it with you in the house this item is absolutely fine and should function properly for as long as you need it to.

Not exactly as pictured- Just got the 'clear', it was the only color available with 'prime'. I already had the very similar item from 'c-line', and since the photo looked almost identical, I got this clear one- just didn't want another purple! But this clear one doesn't have a button closure as pictured- the elastic wraps around the folder instead. In the pictures, the same exact button is on both brand items, even in a reviewer's photo. So there are likely somewhat different versions around. The button is easier for me to use. Noted my my clear one has 2 front slots to put info in, not 1 as is in some photos. Otherwise, except for those points, the items next to each other seem identical, except for the mfr name on it, looks made at the same place. Fyi in case you are wanting to use them all together. Hope they hold up - using 1 for all my monthly bill receipts, the other for stamps, address labels- yes I still send out mail! And my 'system' was just a mess, this seems just the right size, not too big or small. I just like to get whatever is pictured.... ( :

Beware that the dimensions listed in the product description are incorrect. I bought this because it says the expandable file is 10.5x2x5inches, but it is not 2" in depth, it is actually only 1". Very disappointed because I could have gotten this from another seller at a lower price but I paid more thinking it expanded more than the others.

I have had this organizer for just over a week. I am a teacher, have a lot of papers to grade and this organizer goes in and out of my work bag often. While I like the design of the accordion part better than the Mead organizer I bought, the button has already popped off in just a week. This is frustrating as now my papers are more likely to go spilling out everywhere if I bump it off a desk, or my bag topples in my car (not able to zip because it is always full of teaching stuff). For nearly $15 to lose the fastener in one week is really frustrating.

Was looking for a regular "paper width" accordion organizer to store my receipt for various accounts. Since it's check-sized, it works perfectly without me having to fold up my receipts multiple times (except CVS, because, well CVS!).Can't comment on long-term longevity, but mine isn't showing any immediate signs of failure right now.

I use this organizer to prepare my tax files to send to my tax guy. He loves the way the documents are organized and looks forward to receiving my accordion folder each year. I love the selection of colors. I am able to use a different color for each year which makes finding something very easy. Thanks for the great product.

Really good. The only issue I have is that it has two straps to hold it together which even tho is a small inconvenience, i find it cumbersome to unstrap both sides to open it.I recommend any folder like this that can be held together with 1 strap or 1 button.

I bought this file to replace one I bought at Target Dollar Spot three years ago.I use it to organize tracts. It could also be used for receipts, coupons, etc. The second photo shows that the bottom of file does not expand but is a fixed width of one inch. This is fine for my use.I ordered the smoke gray which is a light gray because it is completely see through. I inserted a piece of white cardboard to the front and back and the color looks better. The small card holder on the front is a bonus that I didn't have on my previous file. It holds about five business cards. All colors seem to be the same item in the photos except the purple one. It has two business card holders and the closure is different than the others. The purple is currently out of stock.
