As a novice archer my muscles are not as strong as needed. This trainer is helping strengthen the specific muscles I need to enjoy this sport.

First: this product works exactly as advertised. Secondly: this product could easily be improved; make the top level of tension greater, put a cheap laser in the handle that can be held on target, and add a draw loop. I added my own draw loop using the same string that is used for the bow draw loops (asked the tech at my local shop and he just gave me a foot long piece) I tied it on loose so that it will slide up and down as you adjust the tension. This is absolutely a must as practice/excersize should be as close as possible to the real thing.

Works very well and has helped ro improve my stamina while shooting.

Trainer does a good job of strengthening while helping with form.

It's plastic with very limited adjustment, mine has broken twice. I repaired it once this time I'm done with it. Do NOT waste your dollars. Durability is non-existent....... tubing seems the weak link a cheap kids toy only.

I bought this for my daughter who is in archery. We are both a little disappointed with it. The locking mechanism on it does not hold so she is unable to increase draw tension. The tension for the other part (vertical) is fine. She is still using it, occasionally, after she works out to improve her stance.

This is a great product for the novice Archer it will help improve keeping your bow level and help perform with accuracy on 56 years old and I still use it so it's never too late give it a try it's well worth the money I highly recommend this product.

The adjustable pull strength is pretty nice to be able to adjust (use a pull scale for accurate weight) and the level function is great to help with feeling the angle compared to how level you may be holding the bow. However: I spent 2 hours shooting an ILF recurve @ 20lbs pull the other day with no shoulder discomfort. I just spent less than 10 minutes on this thing and the pull from the bottom (holding the bow) band is wayyyyy too strong. Now my left trapezium is uncomfortable (I'm right handed). This may have been made for reallly short people but at 5'11" I'm ending up really pulling on the lower band to get it level to my height. Using a tension scale, it shows that to pull it out and up (to mimic position of holding the bow eye level, I am expending almost 6 pounds (3x the eight of my bow) of tension to hold it in place (but on an angle! They should have thought about height differences to make the tension on the bottom adjustable. So this can only be used for 10 minutes at a time which is very little usage. Even adjusting the upper cloth band section (under the handle), still not enough. Also some bead like object fell out when I was giving myself more play on the cord under the handle so I had to slightly jerry rig it to stop from pulling the cable off the handle. Neat thing to play around with but not recommended for practice. I will have to figure out something to allow me to extend the bottom cable and get a much more realistic weight holding a bow.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD TOOL TO HELP YOU ATTAIN A CORRECT AND STRONG STANCE FOR YOUR BOW AND ARROW SHOOTING. I SEVERELY TORE MY ROTATOR CUFF AND BICEP TENDON AWHILE BACK AND THIS PRODUCT HAS HELPED ME TREMENDOUSLY IN GETTING MY STRENGTH AND FORM BACK AGAIN. SINCE YOU CAN ADJUST THE TENSION OF YOUR STRING ARM , IT ALLOWS YOU TO START OFF SLOWLY AND GRADUALLY INCREASE THE TENSION AGAIN. I CAN NOW ELEVATE MY ELBOW UP TO WHERE IT SHOULD BE AND COMPLETE MY RELEASE. BEFORE I GO OUT TO ACTUALLY SHOOT,, I DO A FEW SHOTS WITH THIS TO WARM UP MY BOW ARM , STANCE AND STRING ARM AND TO GET THE FEEL OF WHAT A PROPER STANCE FEELS LIKE AGAIN. GREAT TO BE ABLE TO USE IT IN THE HOUSE. IT HAS A NICE NET BAG TO KEEP IT IN WHEN NOT IN USE. GREAT LITTLE PRODUCT.
