These earplugs are a lifesaver! I have been going crazy while my daughter is taking classes at the YMCA because of the screaming kids everywhere (and sometimes very loud parents or caregivers) while I'm trying to squeeze in a little time to work. It is very hard for me to concentrate when it's noisy and loud, so I decided to give earplugs a try. I really like these earplugs because they don't just eliminate all noise. I can still hear what's going on, just in case I need to hear my daughter or someone talking to me, but it quiets all the noise you don't want to hear. I'm not sure why I never heard about these kind of earplugs before, but I love the fact that you can still hear what's going on, but much quieter. These are now in my purse and I have found myself pulling them out on my train ride and trying to drown out lawn mowers and construction noise. The best part of these is that they come with a case so I can keep them clean and just throw them in my purse, and they also come with a cord so I can just take the earplugs off and put them back on when I need to without losing the earplugs! Genius. I only wish I had found these earlier when I was dealing with so many noises when I lived in the city to drown out sirens, loud neighbors, lots of construction, the subway, and just the chaos of New York City life. I'm just glad I have these now so that I can find moments of peace to focus on my work or reading no matter where I am without muffling out things I need to hear - like train stops and announcements. Great product.

I am definitely pleased with my Mixerfy Earplugs! Since I work at one of the major airports in the US and I am in contact with airplane engine motors on a daily basis, my Mixerfy earplugs block the sounds, yet enable me to communicate with my staff. A major plus is knowing that the owner of Mixerfy was in constant communication with me prior to receiving and after I received my ear plugs to ensure that I was a satisfied customer. I rate this product and company a 10 plus! I am a satisfied customer!

After joking on me for months about using noise cancelling headphones at a rock concert, my boyfriend finally admitted that he would like to use them in his music room when he is playing guitar and drums. In stead I decided to go ahead and buy us some noise cancelling earplugs since we have a Guns N Roses concert we will be going to in a couple of weeks. These didn't block out as much sound as the headphones (which truly is to be expected), but they did an excellent job knocking down the volume of my playing the drums. I was still able to hear talking and other noises, but substantially softer. The reason I gave it only a 4 stars is because they aren't as comfortable as they could be.

Finally started using these after owning them for over two months. They work great. The sound isn't pristine, but i didn't expect it to be. I used them primarily to protect my hearing at concerts and they seem to work great in that type of situation.

These did not work for me. They did not block or cancel out any noise for me at all. I was able to hear everything the exact same way as I did without the earplugs in.

I live in a somewhat noise polluted environment under a major airports flight path. These earplugs do a fantastic job keeping the sound out and allowing me to sleep thoroughly through the night. They are also quite comfortable, much more so than the foam ones.

I play in a loud rock band. The earplugs to a very good job in sound reduction but at a cost. The sound is not clear enough to play with. Im sure their fine for shooting or working.. Playing Music? Not so much

Hurt my ears to use for longer than 10 minutes. Seem to channel sound down into ear rather than just block it--so it was quieter, as promised, but still so loud it hurt, and the way it's positioned seems to hurt, too. Maybe better for men with larger ears?
