Your new dishwasher may already have one in the parts box
My first Bosch . I bought this plug set up I was irritated it required the plug accessory unlike other brands . Then after completing the install I found the same harness that was in the dishwasher . Anyway if you need this it is a great fit and easy to install

Worked with my Bosch Dishwasher
I used it with my Bosch dishwasher. As far as I can tell it could have been a straight power cord plugging into a standard outlet. The "junction box" probably justified the price and you end up spending more on a power cord with open ends to connect into the "junction box". German engineering (SMH)?

It was exactly as described and came with all the necessary parts to replace our fried one.

Junction box to ease current and future installs.
Made installation a bit more manageable and serviceable in the future. Not exactly necessary but future me will thank past me for being able to maintain the current Bosch dishwasher or able to easily replace the next one (in ~30 years, if needed). This item brings the installation circuitry to a more viable location and keep components on the electrical portions in a neat box to be easily troubleshot or replaced.

I recently purchased a Bosch dishwasher. My old dishwasher was hard wired but this new one required this junction box. The installer looked on Amazon, found the product needed, ordered it & it arrived the next day. Placed, installed my dishwasher & we're good. Amazon has everything!!!

When connecting the power to the terminals ensure that you have a good connection. Give the conductors a tug to be sure you have torqued the terminal correctly.
