Great for Wet Wading
Picked these up for wet wading while fly fishing this summer, and they’ve been awesome. They fit great inside my wading boots and the neoprene is just the right thickness, enough to keep my feet warm in cold water but still comfortable to hike around in. They are tight fitting, so can’t really add another layer underneath if needed. After a few full days on the river, they’ve held up great with no leaks or weird rubbing. They also dry pretty fast, which is nice when you’re fishing multiple days in a row. I planned to only use these in the warmer months, but they keep my feet dry and warm enough that I have used them when the water temps have been in the 50s and my feet stay comfortable. Pair them with some quick dry pants and you can comfortably wet wade 3 seasons a year with these.

Kept my feet dry and toasty warm. These are fantastic wet weather socks
Nothing worse than wet cold feet. I wore these in on a boat where my feet had a high probability of getting wet. Day 2 it rained all day and there was no way to avoid getting wet. My shoes were soaked but my feet were dry. I continued to wear these in my wet shoes for the next few days. My shoes dried out and my feet remained dry and warm These are very good quality Putting them on can get tricky as the waterproof properties tend to make them hold air for a short time. Taking them off can also take a bit of extra effort. I wear size 10.5 shoes and these fit perfectly They are pricey, but well worth it.

Water tight as promised so far
My good snake-proof boots have a slight leak across the top of one foot. I can’t afford to replace the boots right now, but I use them a lot camping and hiking. I ordered these waterproof socks as a temporary compromise to get another year out of the boots. The socks are a bit clownish, not what I would call attractive. But who cares? They are going to be hidden inside equally garish camo snake boots. They have an odd almost neoprene feel to them on the inside and I thought they were going to be very hot. The outer surface fits snug like slight compression. I put them on and turned on the patio spigot. Stood under it, soaking the socks from the knee and stomping around in the pooling water for a few minutes. Then came and sat on the deck for a while. They felt pretty comfortable once I got them on. I could feel a sensation in my feet of “cooling” and I thought my feet were probably getting wet. But after waiting a few minutes, I pulled the socks off and stuck my hand in to the toe. Both socks were dry inside, wet outside. I think if I had stuffed paper into the toes, it would not have gotten wet or smeared. I checked with my hand several times and turned one sock inside out. There was a very slight feel of almost condensation or something but definitely not water on the insides. I haven’t tested them with the boots yet but am planning some hikes with creek crossings in the next month. If the socks don’t perform as promised, I will update my review. First impression and test is they passed and are as stated in the listing. I wear a size 8-8.5 wide toe box hiking shoe (women size), 6.5-7 snake boot (men size). I ordered the XS socks and they are a good fit.

Mid-Calve Protection
The sock does keep your feet dry unless you get water beyond your mid-calve. I wish it locked out water all the way up to the calve. The fit is a half size too large. I've used it a dozen times now and it appears to be keeping up. I think it is a bit pricey for one pair but I'm sure I'll get enough usage out of it to justify the cost. I had wash these and they dry up quickly so that's an added bonus. Overall, they are a good value but if they come down $15 they would be outstanding!

They worked as advertised-I'm dry!
Took them out for winter kayaking and WOW they kept me dry. I was skeptical at first but after multiple trips these socks keep you feet and legs dry. Thermally I must admit cold water is cold water and you will feel the temps on your body based on water temp but if you have an extra towel available to damp dry them some it takes the cold sting off from winter water-but HEY YOU ARE DRY!!!Machine wash and dryer dry with no prob multiple times.

Truly Waterproof and a Life Saver for Fall Surf Fishing with slightly leaky waders!
I purchased a three pack/bargain of "waterproof socks" and this single higher priced Randy Sun item at the same time, due to having a slight leak in my surf waders that allows a bit of water to enter both boots (one worse than the other). I fish November and December in the New Jersey surf, and with the water/air temps dry feet are a MUST HAVE. The bargain socks were very inconsistent, so I have ONLY used the single pair from Randy Sun. They have functioned flawlessly across dozens of long days surf fishing. Highly recommended.

Excellent
Wore these fishing amd kayaking in Alaska. They kept my feet and legs warm and dry. No stretch, but was able to get them over muscular calves without much trouble. Well made, very comfortable once on. True to size. Extremely happy with this purchase.
