Seventeen Seconds is the second studio album by English rock band the Cure, originally recorded at Morgan Studio and released on April 22, 1980. Seventeen Seconds established the group's gloomy sound that would continue until 1982's Pornography.It is the only Cure album to feature keyboardist Matthieu Hartley.This record will be released on 180 gram vinyl. An early indication of genius
“Seventeen Seconds” is a pivotal album for The Cure. It hints at the depth of Robert Smith & the bands vision. “A Forest” is jaw-dropping in it’s powerful simplicity. If you are wondering WHY they are significant, START HERE.

I own several Fiction original pressings and all I can tell you is that Rhino did a wonderful job of sound reproduction such that you can't tell the difference from a European original pressing. Buy it. Great job, Rhino!
