As you can see from the photo, I compared it to those pens. I personally love good quality pens and here's what I think.. - ink quality is amazing ans glides well, it is dark and doesn't slip lines when writing. - personally the grip of this pen is obv thicker than the muji 0.38 but I like it since my hand strains smtimes from gripping the muji pens body when I'm writing for a longgg time. since the energel clena 0.4 body is thicker to grip while writing it's more comfortable for a long writing session! - smudge test passed! ESPECIALLY from a LEFT HANDED PERSON, smudge test on gel pens are important and this passed it! - it is the perfect pen to get if u want to switch with something close to the muji 0.38 black. I ALWAYS use the muji 0.38 but I've been recently looking for smthing that is the same quality or even better than it but in a clicky pen, AND PPL THIS IS IT TRUST ME. U won't regret (pentel might as well sponsor me like damn) ! if ur wondering that 0.2 difference with the muji 0.38 and this energel clean 0.4... u honestly don't feel it unless ur someone who loves pointy feel type of pens (me). Conclusion: AN AMAZING CLICKY PEN THAT U CAN SWITCH WITH MUJI 0.38 ! :>

My absolute favorite pen to use in my Hobonichi planners! The 0.4 is a great thickness and it has such smooth writing. It has been my go to for several years! I also use it in my Bible to take notes! And I love that it has a comfortable grip and it can be refilled!
