This ball is great for outdoor use. It is rubber but still has the deep groves like a quality indoor ball.

Nothing really to complain about other than they seem to lose air pretty quickly. We bought two of them. Had to pump each of them up after about two weeks. Not a big deal but a shorter time than I would have expected for them to hold air. Nice grip though and felt real enough for outdoor use.
