Efficient. Great for straining out spices in mixed drinks (Chai). Easy clean. Not recommended for use with wide mouth mugs or water bottles.

I use these specifically in my apothecary to strain infusions. I do not have to worry about any bits of herbs getting through the fine mesh. They are fairly good weight and the longer handle is not to my advantage but I can see several places it would help. They are not cross contaminated with any food products in the kitchen in my house but they would work great in the kitchen as well.

Lost my previous strainer a while ago and spent a bit of time trying to find a replacement with an equally fine mesh. Most I saw were not fine enough and would let pulp/ice chips/etc. through. These work great and keep everything that isn't liquid from passing through
