My package was received with tape, as though the product had been used and returned. That is not so unusual since Amazon received returns frequently and re-sells the item. However, I bought mine as marked new. Not used. Also, there were hair clippings inside the box. See attached photo. I used alcohol wipes and Lysol wipes to sanitize the shears, hoping there was no lice or bacteria, etc. The shears themselves work wonderfully! Blades are sharp and cut very well. The serrated shears are great for texturizing and layering. Easy to use and feels good to grip in my hand. I wish the products had been at least sanitized prior to shipping to me. Especially a new box without hair clippings inside. I ultimately would have preferred a new product, since that is what I paid for.

I have three homes. Each one has a pair of these scissors. That should tell you everything about the product. I am lucky enough to have a wife that can cut my hair and save me time and money from ever-increasingly pricey visits to the barber or peluqueria, or beauty parlor. I love many of the people who have cut my hair over the years. Some of the outcomes have been great, some not so much. My wife has only one customer, and knows my crazy hair, and shows it by giving me a great haircut. These scissors have eliminated the unexpected pull that sometimes shocks and hurts a bit. They are very sharp, and very silent because the adjustment is perfect. face it, they are waaaay cheap for their quality.

I’ve been using these scissors for 5 months, and being able to cut my own hair has been a huge freedom. Thanks to this pair, I can trim my ends and do small adjustments at home without needing to visit a salon. For the price, the performance is way better than I expected — but the scissors do have a few sensitive points. Cutting Performance: • The blades are very sharp; no snagging, and they cut the ends extremely clean. • The 6” size is ideal for home users and easy to control. • Well-balanced and doesn’t tire the hand. • The tension screw stays stable and doesn’t loosen on its own. Pros: • Easily competes with more expensive barber scissors. Great “beginner-level professional feel” for at-home cuts. • Lightweight, ergonomic, and comfortable even during longer use. • Excellent price/performance ratio. Cons: • A bit delicate — try not to drop them, as they’re sensitive. • Biggest downside: they don’t like moisture. I kept mine in the bathroom and noticed slight rusting. • Works best when you cut hair in smaller sections instead of taking thick chunks at once. Extra tips: • Don’t, like my wife on her first haircut attempt, try to cut all your hair at once and end up crying. • And don’t, like my cat, use them to scratch yourself instead of cutting hair. Summary: Performance-wise, these scissors are genuinely impressive and perfect for anyone cutting their hair at home. You just need to care for them properly. Don’t leave them in humid areas and avoid dropping them. If you do that, the sharpness and performance last a long time. With all the pros and cons considered, I still confidently recommend them.

Scissors are exactly what I wanted. Sharp, nicely weighted, reasonably comfortable to hold, and not expensive…just an overall good quality scissor for basic cuts and trims. Both me and my son have super thick, straight hair that requires frequent trims (his chin length, mine much longer). These scissors have already paid for themselves multiple times over from me doing his 6 week cuts, and my own bang trims. Scissors are very sharp, and don’t drag or pull at all when cutting, even sections of thick hair. While they are relatively comfortable to hold, I don’t care for the finger rest. I know it’s there to encourage proper finger placement, but for amateurs like me, it doesn’t feel ergonomic. I am a big fan of the thinning scissors too, which are great quality as well. They are excellent at blending blunt cut ends, especially bangs and layers. I use them almost every time I use the regular pair.

These scissors are sharp and cut cleanly. They feel solid in your hand and the tension screw is a nice touch for adjusting how they glide. Simple, good-quality shears that do the job.

I’ve had these for quite a while now maybe a year. I style my hair myself and clip my ends twice a year. The last time I clipped them I used these scissors. I noticed a nice clean. crisp cut with no stragglers. As usual, my hair grows back quickly after a trim, but this time it seemed to grow back a little longer than normal. I believe it is because of the precise and crisp cut that these scissors give allowing the hair to grow back more easily. The scissors fit my hand well, see the photo for size reference. My fingers go into the opening easily. The rubber type material on the inside of the finger holes helped me to maintain a good grip, even when I have product on my hands or my hair is wet. They have not rusted and have maintained their color. They are extremely sharp and should be handled with caution. (I almost cut my fingers a few times not realizing that they were open in the large container that I stored them in.) so be careful! They work well and open and close without any issues. No negatives here at all! Although, I do wish it would have come with a small case or bag to put it in when not in use.
