I love this little screw driver, it is definitely over engineered but has a great look and feel. The inside storage for the screwdriver’s heads is super practical and the whole design is thoroughly thought through and feel like it’s going to last forever. Well done Hoto for crafting such a good product

So useful to have a solid, good looking screwdriver that i can keep handy. The built in bit storage means i just need to keep one rather than multiple drivers. Could do with slightly more grip to improve comfort but works well for smaller projects.

The only reasons for not 5* is the absence of a bigger flat blade screwdriver and the bits are limited length so in my opinion you might struggle to get them into deeper recesses. Apart from these the tool looks & feels quality. The bits appear to be decent hardened steel and the girth of the body makes it easy to grip and turn tighter fittings. The magnet bit holder keeps them in place when using the tool and I liked the magnetic internal holder for all the bits which means no screw thread to corrode. Nice addition to the tool kit

I carry a precision driver every day, since I work with computer hardware. These things get around the legal restrictions in the UK or on flights since there's no cutting blade, and no long shaft like on a traditional screwdriver, (seriously, screwdrivers make lethal stabbing weapons since they penetrate so deep.) I spent a long time looking for an upgrade over my old pocket hex driver, and settled on this, and I have to say; its worth the money. The number of bits is huge for the size of this thing given the double ended design, and while that means the form factor is unique so you can't swap for other hex bits you own, I don't know that I could improve much on the selection. Even the torque bits have the dimples that let you work open security screws; it's like the designer decided to make the most functional and comprehensive precision driver they could, and didn't stray from that goal. And then added a valve pull tool for tyres just to bring up the offering further. Construction is great, the bearing in the rotating end feels smooth and high quality, it's lightweight without feeling flimsy and the same magnet that keeps the core in place during travel also grabs the bits when you slot one for use - that's just such neat design. One detracting factor I did notice is that the only flathead is very small, although in practice you can probably use the valve pull tool as a broader one in a pinch. I can't remember ever seeing tiny flathead notched screws; in my experience Philip's style cross notches are much more common at the sort of scale we are talking about. Even so, this is incredibly minor given the rest of what this set offers and in no way detracts from the value here. Overall, kind of in love with this thing. It's clearly exceptionally designed to pack a lot into a small package. It doesn't even rattle due to the magnetic storage, which let me tell you, is kind of amazing after years of pocket drivers that clank when you walk. This is definitely going on a few mates Xmas gift lists this year, it's so good I want to share it with others. If you are deliberating, it's a definite recommend from me. Just know that this is perfect for all those precision jobs, but you might want something with broader bits if you want to assemble furniture or work on industrial machinery. I purchased this with low expectations, but it has truly exceeded them—it’s amazing. I always carry it with me when travelling, and it’s proven to be incredibly handy. The magnetic click when loading the bits is so satisfying, and the centre part pulls out and clicks back into place magnetically. It feels solid and well-built in use, with a thoughtful design touch: the end that rests against your palm features what seems to be a roller bearing, making it even more comfortable. I’m so impressed that I’ve started gifting these to others, and they’ve been a hit with everyone who’s received one!

Questo cacciavitino di precisione è veramente comodo e ben fatto. Molto bello esteticamente, come solitamente sono le cose della Hoto, e al livello di qualità costruttiva. Tutto in alluminio, quindi molto leggero ma resistente, piacevole da tenere in mano e comodo da usare. Comodo il fatto che abbia le punte integrate al suo interno, così da non perderle e averle tutte sempre con sé, e comodo il fatto che praticamente sia tutto calamitato, sia il sistema di apertura e chiusura del tappo posteriore, che appunto contiene le viti, sia le viti stesse al suo interno nel loro alloggiamento, e anche per il fatto che quando svitiamo piccole viti, tipo dei pc, degli occhiali e di aggeggi elettronici in generale (cose per il quale è pensato questo cacciavite), le stesse rimangano attaccate alla punta una volta svitate, così da sfilarle facilmente dai loro alloggiamenti e anche per evitare che si perdano. E, infine, comodo il fatto che il tappo posteriore, quando avvitiamo e svitiamo possa rimanere fisso, se lo teniamo, e far girare solo il corpo del cacciavite così da rendere tutto più pratico. Piccolo e portatile, ormai io lo tengo fisso buttato nel mio zaino da tutti i giorni, non fosse altro per stringere le viti degli occhiali che mi si allentano spesso, e se dovesse servire per altre casette, tanto è lì e non occupa spazio. A prezzo pieno è un po’ caro, anche se come ripeto i materiali e il design sono di qualità, ma preso in offerta come ho fatto io vale sicuramente la pena. Conclusioni: bell’oggettino. Materiali, design e comodità di utilizzo ci sono tutte. Utile da avere a portata di mano in casa o nello zaino per piccole viti di occhiali, pc, cose elettroniche o piccole cose in generale, che di solito sono quelle punte che quando ci servono non troviamo mai. Consigliato se in offerta.
