Great little light! Lost 2 of them already.
I upgraded from one of the other models and was happy with this. I cherished it on a 10 day backpacking trip that where I only had to recharge it twice. The clip was sturdy and the red light function - though dim - were nice functions. I loved the power button locking feature. My only real concern was that when using it on my hat bill it shined in everyone’s eyes because even when you angle it down, the LED is still exposed in a full vertical 180; but I don’t think I would change that at all. I’ve already lost 2 of them, which is a pain. The size is nice, but it would be cool if it had a different color option for the case to make it easier to spot. But that’s on me. Great light! 85 lumens was plenty!

Handy, Bright Light with Clip-On Convenience
If you want a ready light that's compact, bright and versatile, you could do a lot worse than this. One easy push of the top button selects high brightness, then successive presses select medium, low or flash. Plus, if you turn it on bright use it for anything over two seconds, the next push turns off the light. Intuitive and handy. The lower button selects the night-vision-saving red light. First push is on, second push is flash. Might be handy when stargazing or maybe sneaking in the kids room to check on them (although generally I could march in with a band and mine won't wake up). Also has a handy double ring on the bottom so you could leash it to avoid dropping or loss. Brightest setting lasts about an hour, then the light seems to evenly dim over the next hour. USB recharging is handy, with a red light indicating charging and a green light indicating charging is done, which took about 2.5 hours, and uses a standard USB micro cable (included). As long as the internal battery doesn't wear out in a couple of years... Nice light!

Surprisingly Bright, Tiny, and powerful
I got this to attach to a tac vest. I figured, 2 LEDS, might be okay for a map light. Holy Cow is this thing bright for its size. Projects wide and bright, will project in excess of 15 feet no problem. Quite a surprising bit of power coming from only 2 LEDs. The Red light is quite useful in a variety of applications including low visibility area illumination or signal light. I knew it was small, but this thing is a little bigger than a thumb drive. I am both surprised and very pleased with this guy. The attached clip means I can put it on just about anything I please. I was also thrilled to see its IPX65 rated. Charges quickly, has a variety of settings. I was just going to keep it on my vest, but this guy would work great in a car or just to keep handy. I know mine is going to be within reach at all times.

Nice light; be aware it's not quite weather-proof
I've had one of these for over a year now (EDIT: Correction - Just under a year). It's a very bright and convenient source of light to have around with the work I do. It's served me quite well during my time with it. The adjustable head and clip make it very handy as a makeshift headlight: I can clip it onto the bill off a cap or something else thin and direct it to where I'm working. Otherwise, it's small and light enough to be placed in a multitude of locations where a traditional flashlight would have difficulty staying put or even getting into. However, it recently started acting up. It turned on once without me doing anything. I know I've accidently bumped the buttons before, but this time it was literally just sitting on the desk charging and suddenly turned on. Before that incident, the white LEDs would flicker. Pressing the buttons might flicker both sets of lights. Eventually, it stopped functioning at all, just flickering the lights for a moment when the buttons were pressed. As I liked this flashlight quite a bit, I decided to get another one to replace the malfunctioning one. Once I got the new one, I could dissect the old one with concern. If I could fix it, I'd just have two lights. For the cost, it's not that bad. Well, I opened up the old one and found out something was corroding the contact pins on the main IC inside the flashlight. I'm not quite sure if it was electrolyte (doubt it since this is a lithium-ion battery) or more likely just moisture. (I wouldn't be surprised if it was just humidity condensate given the weather where I live.) The corrosion was starting to short the IC pins, causing the issues I witnessed. Some scrapping and cleaning got the flashlight back to normal and fully functional again (mostly; there's still a momentary flicker on button presses for now, but at least the light works as intended otherwise.) If anyone else is have a flickering issue, it could be a simply fix: Jeweler's screwdriver (#1 & #0 Phillips) and a toothpick with maybe some pure isopropyl alcohol should be all you need. Anyway, four stars overall for this product. One star knocked off for the lack of weatherproofing, either by having a fully sealed case (which would likely bump the price to like $30 USD) or using a conformal coating on the circuit board/IC itself. I might take them apart at work to clean the old one better and Liquid Tape the IC pins/contacts in both to make sure this is less likely to happen again. (Or just grab some conformal coating off Amazon.) EDIT: UPDATE - So the problem came back. I finally had some down-time at work to inspect the light. (Better equipped at my job for this type of work compared to home.) So the corrosion I found was only part of the problem. It seems the corrosion ate enough of a contact on the main IC to make it loose while being able to intermittently bridge the connection or something. I tried re-soldering the contact, but had to file away the corrosion first. (Some flux didn't help much.) I did notice other solder points on the circuit board was treated with either a conformal coat (main contact points to the white LEDs) or protective film (USB connector, battery connections). Odd that Nitecore didn't apply it to the main controller IC. Anyway, the flashlight is seemingly susceptible to humidity and condensation build-up inside of it. Caution to those of you who tend to change environments with large temperature differences often. After my fix, I threw on a conformal coating for safe measure in the future. (I popped open my new one to put on a coat as well.) I'm still unsure what the residue under the battery was, though...

Great little light.
I’m a deputy and have a few lights. This one works great. I use it as a shoulder light to fill out paperwork at night. I lost it the other day and now have to order another one. Great light though. Recommend it 100%.

Very compact, lightweight and practical EDC flashlight
This is a great EDC flashlight. I carry one on my keychain, have a couple around the house, and have a couple always ready for travel. It's rechargeable and holds a charge for a long time. When in use it has a long life, especially on low. I find the three choices of brightness to be great because I often only need the dimmer light and it has many, many hours of capacity at that brightness. At the same time I sometimes want a very bright light and it can do that too though for less time. It also has a flashing white light, a solid red light or flashing red light. I don't use those often, but the flashing red light would be great in emergencies. It has a great clip on it that I can put on a shirt or a jacket pocket for hands-free use. I also often clip it onto the brim of my baseball cap. Then I can point it down at any one of a number of angles (it's adjustable) for hands-free light as I walk at night. It also has a sturdy metal lanyard to hang from a keychain or from a string in a tent or wherever. Hard to beat this guy!

Love it! Just the right amount of light to aid in nighttime note taken. Strong clip to attach to service vest and won't break easily.

Incredibly bright! Easy carry, thanks to its sturdy clip. No more need to carry a large flashlight anymore. Working in the security industry, this light is a godsend. Fits perfectly on my vest.

I really appreciate that it locks so does not turn on in a pocket and drain the battery. I don't think I'll ever need the red light but the white light works very well. I wish that it started on the dimmest setting instead of the brightest, but otherwise it's perfect
