I purchased the Aqonsie Solar Shed Light (176 LED, 1-Pack Black) for $29.99 for our 10×12 outdoor shed, and it has worked amazingly well. The pendant light is mounted inside the shed while the solar panel sits on the roof where it gets full sun. It took only about 5 minutes to assemble and mount, and the package includes screws for both the light and the panel. There’s no electrical wiring required other than the cord connecting the solar panel to the light. We simply ran that cable along the top of the shed and secured it neatly with tape and zip ties. The light itself is made from durable plastic with a solid build quality and feels lightweight but sturdy once installed. The LED panel does not swivel or move, so the direction of the light is fixed once mounted, but the 176 LEDs are extremely bright and spread light across the entire shed interior. It easily lights up everything inside, which has been especially helpful for my husband who has cataracts and needs stronger lighting to see clearly. It includes five lighting modes and a remote control, so adjusting brightness and settings is very simple. The motion sensor works well and the light turns on immediately when we open the shed doors. The solar panel charges efficiently during the day and has still held power even on cloudy or stormy days. Overall this has been one of the best and most useful purchases I’ve made here. It’s bright, energy-efficient, easy to install, and very versatile for sheds, barns, garages, or other spaces where running electrical wiring would be difficult.

This light is a great addition to our barn. I don't have power there and needed some light for the days we don't get the goats fed before dark. It can also be quite dark in there during the day, so I really wanted the daytime feature. This light is nice and bright, for what it is. Depending on the size of shed/barn, you might want two, but we mainly just need to see enough to get some hay and maybe grain for the animals. Keeping the remote from getting lost will be near impossible, but the light is more than enough for our needs. Installation was super easy, just install the solar panel, route the wire inside, install the light and connect the wire. It was much easier than trying to run power across to this building. The motion sensor works great. I mounted my light on the ceiling, facing straight down. It is about 10ft above the floor and the sensor works from about 12ft away. Perfect for my situation. Time will tell with battery life, but it is lithium, so should be good for a bit. Definitely a good alternative in a shed or barn.

this is a great product .. I have purchased butters that were cheaper in the past and none were as reliable as this product .. .. the quality starts with the solar panels which are protected by aluminum metal along with a bracket for adjustability .. the solar panel is of decent size and not like those cheaper wimpy small ones .. the LEDs are nice and bright and the remote controls uses standard AAA batteries unlike some of the cheaper ones that use difficult to find coin type batteries .. simple to install and works on the first try .. just like many others here I'm sure that have forgotten to turn on the power switch which is located directly in the middle-so make sure you turn it on before you get off your ladder especially if you have it installed up high that way you don't have to get the ladder back out and climb up there to turn it on .. I recommend this product as it is a solid product in the box it is thoughtfully put together with amount of Styrofoam cushioning that will most likely bang around during transport .. .. in fact I like it so much on my buy some more down the line ...

Just what I needed for our detached garage! There is ledge between it and the house so an underground wire was out of the question. Using solar was the perfect way to go, and this light cost far less than running a cable. The garage is 24x24 and the best place for the solar panel was on a corner, so the long cable was just the right length to allow me to mount it in the center of the garage. The whole install took less than an hour and is very straightforward. Simply mount the panel, drill a hole for the wire, Seal the wire hole with silicone caulk, mount the light, and connect the two. The light module is plastic and very light weight, so I used a single screw to attach it to the rafter, allowing me to swivel it for best coverage. All the necessary hardware is provided, and even includes drywall anchors for the screws and tie wraps for securing the wire. In operation, the motion detector responded when I got within 5 feet of the light. I larger detection radius would have been a little better, but is not an issue; I will Velcro the remote to the garage wall and use it as an on/off switch if necessary. However, if you were to drive a vehicle into the garage, the detection range is fine. The light is very bright. We rarely use this garage at night, and I'm sure it will be adequate for our needs. The unit is well designed and manufactured. The solar panel is encased in a metal frame and has an adjustable metal mounting bracket. The cable from the solar panel to the light has a keyed connector to prevent accidental miswiring and a secure waterproof connection. While light in weight, the light housing is well built and hold the LED panels securely. There are 4 adjustable LED panels as well as a fixed downward pointing 5th panel which allow you to direct the light where it is needed. The master on/off switch is mounted on the center panel and is waterproof. You can install this light in damp outdoor conditions without worrying about it shorting out. Also, the light runs on low voltage, so you don't have to worry about electrical shock. I'm very pleased with this light, and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a light in a shed or garage that does not have electricity.

Purchased for my home shed gym. Great light and a lot better than the solar powered one that I have. It really makes the shed brighter. Picture shows how bright it is in my home gym. Does cost a bit more but worth it. Give this a five stars.
