I bought this black light after struggling to clean an oriental rug when someone let their dog go wild. Regular cleaning wasn’t solving the problem, so I needed a way to track down the root cause. This little tool worked perfectly. It’s very easy to use — just slip in 3 AAA batteries and it’s ready to go. The light quality is strong and clear, making it simple to spot hidden stains that would otherwise be invisible. Within minutes, I was able to locate the source of the odor and treat the rug properly. The difference was night and day, and now the rug looks and smells so much better. For the price, this black light is an excellent value. Whether you’re dealing with pets, spills, or other mystery messes, it’s a great product to have on hand. These flashlights worked perfectly for my germ sighting project with my pre-k class.

I would give these a 5 star, but the only thing holding me back is the heftiness of the flashlight itself. More like 4.8 stars if I could. It's great, don't get me wrong, works perfectly, used it on identifying some uranium glass and some minerals in some rock samples as well. It is 100% a working UV light, and what's more is there's TWO flashlights included! The flashlights themselves seem sturdy, but not overly sturdy like some of the other stuff I've even gotten at Walmart has been. The metal feels fine, totally useable, but just ever so slightly thin, somehow. Like if dropped on the rocks too many times or gotten around a few to many splashes might damage or weaken it where as a thicker metal housing would add a sense of weight and toolness to it. Like a maglite almost. Good price for what it is though. Beam isn't as strong as a regular flashlight even, this is meant for close up, convenient, handheld observation, just perhaps not out in the field. Uses 3 AAA batteries. I would recommend this if you want a cheap simple UV flashlight to use around the home, that comes with a second one.

First, let me start out by saying the customer service is excellent. When I received these, one flashlight had some LEDs that didn't work so I was super bummed. Currently I have no transportation so getting around to return them would have been an issue. So I contacted the seller to see if there was any other way to fix the issue. Honestly, I was just hoping to be sent a package with postage paid so that I could send it back and have it replaced. The seller sent me a whole new one without issue and it works perfectly fine it! It was very quickly replaced and I'm super excited! Now for how it works. These are super bright to be so little and they work awesomely. I was able to see hard water spots on every surface it appeared and stains in my carpet that I wasn't even aware of. I was able to see spots that I had missed, cleaning around the toilet. It works perfectly. It even works better than and is much more lightweight than the more expensive one I was replacing it for! An added bonus is that because its a UV light, it makes my glow in the dark tv remote covers glow brighter and longer than they ever have. I have issues seeing things in the dark because they sort of blend in. So it's now easier to see them in the dark than it was before. In closing, I would definitely recommend these flashlights and if there is any issue it will be handled because like said, the customer service was excellent and there was no hassle what so ever. Another added bonus, you can't beat the price. I paid less for two of these than I did for my old one which was around $8 more and had less LEDs. So I'm definitely satisfied with my purchase!

Great price too bad they’re not very bright at all! I guess you get what you pay for I at least expected a better beam of light. I got it for checking for hornworms on my tomatoes in the dark. And it barely lights anything up. Disappointing, if I have time, I may still return them. I don’t see how they would be useful for much of anything, they have the little looks like spread out bulbs in the circle, not a nice beam of a light. Keep that in mind for whatever you’re looking for a black light flashlight for. I knew what they look like. I just expected a stronger beam, they’re extremely weak. It’s not that they’re not quality on how they’re made or how they look, they are just not bright enough at all. I use them in the dark on the plants and they barely lit anything up at all. The hornworms glow kind of, so they’re easier to find with a black light. Too bad they didn’t work for me for my purpose.

Cheap uv flashlight for charging up glow-in-the-dark resins and fishing lures. Does the job.
