It came well protected in a nice box. The tree has several leaves on it and looks very healthy! The root was in a plastic planter and covered in plastic wrap, so I just gave it some water until I could plant it. (It came with a stick next to it to protect it, so that is in the picture, too.) It looks even better than I expected considering it cost less than other trees that were listed. I can’t imagine a tree looking better than this when it arrives. Review: Failed to grow - Excitedly, I planted my new little dogwood the same day it arrived. It was bareroot, so the condition did not concern me. Although, the size was not quite in the range of what they promised. I have patiently tended to the little twig and after 2 months there is no sign of life. The return window- which is not long enough for a bareroot product- is closed. This was a complete waste of $40!

identification tags are very important.
I ordered a Pink Dogwood tree and a white Dogwood tree they look great. But there are no tags to identify which is the pink one and which is the white one. This matters, I want pink in the front and white in the back. I reached out to seller, and they have not responded to my request for information on how to identify them so I can plant them.

Don’t bother
It looks more like a twig with a couple diseased leaves on it So disappointed !! And embarrassed, this was a gift

Hardy and rapid growing
Seemingly hardy and ready for a new home great condition overall would recommend purchasing and plan to again next year
