AMAZING SOUND!!
Compact and visually low profile. Goes loud enough to blow your ear drums out. A bit over kill for me. Sound quality is great. Using with a 500 watt amp and an external. volume dial

This 150 watt loaded subwoofer is amazing
This thing is an amazing upgrade, when the speaker is in the same cabin space as you it sounds like a war zone. 150 watts rms has never sounded so good before. I would pair it with a mono block amp that's atleast 400 watts rms.

Good punch
Tight bass from a very compact design. Good platform for small hatchbacks. Powered by 1025 x 1 bridged mono. None of the goofy droning from ported or band pass boxes- just clean, tight bass with a good punch.

good sub
I bought this sub along with a kicker amp and boss wiring kit a few weeks ago for my Subaru Outback. I am happy with the quality of the sub. It has a good smooth sound, and is plenty loud when I turn it up the rear view mirror shakes wildly and i can feel the bass in my chest. YOU NEED TO KNOW THOUGH THAT IF YOU ARE HOOKING IT UP TO A FACTORY RADIO YOU NEED A LOC CONVERTER. before you buy the sub look into LOC converters. they are fairly easy to install. youtube it, but you should know what you are signing up for. I recommend buying this sub. It's tons of fun.

Packs a punch
I've had this sub installed now for about 8 months now in a 2019 Cherokee. After the 2 week break in, and then another 2 weeks of me being too lazy to get the Amp tuned, I finally put it to the test. I've always liked ALOT of bass, but didn't want to run the risk of poking a hole in it with the amount of stuff that goes in the trunk so I figured downfiring would be the way to go. You get a great rumble that extends through the floor so you can really feel what's hitting. I love that I can throw stuff on top of the box and not worry about damage to the woofer too. Installing was a breeze. Highly recommend this sub for any bass heads or newbies. Downside (for me) is now I want more, so I'm probably going to get a second one to ensure I'm deaf by the time I'm 40!

Very good!
This 12" replaced my Pioneer 10" with same RMS rating hooked up to a 330W Alpine mono (a bit more than I need). This Kicker sounds so much better, clearer, and deeper. This thing pounds! I have learned that you need a good amp to make subs sound good. Bad reviews may stem from cheap amps.Give this a try and the down-firing box frees up the trunk. Why not go for the 2 ohm equivalent? 2 ohms will sound louder but not as clear and precise as 4 ohm subs. Will it make a difference? Not to most people.

Blown outta the box.
Blown out of the box! Still worked but had a terrible rattle. I ended up replacing the speaker with a Comp VR from a local big box store, which was dual 2 ohms for more power. The box is ok, and I still use it, but the water is mediocre. Had a hard time holding the speaker screws. I have to tighten them about once a month.
