I normally use the bliss kiss pens, but wanted to try a new scent/brand. Though this one isn't bad at all (the scent was nice) it just didn't work as nicely as bliss kiss does. I am sure it works great for some people, just not enough for me.

I bought this in hope to find a dupe for the slightly expensive blisskiss nail oil pens. Blisskiss is double the price for half the product. I normally buy the vanilla scent by bliss kiss and I LOVE it. I was hoping to love this one too... My first impression was that I love the size of this pen. It’s great for the price! The component is also sturdy and nice. When I applied it I was confused. This smells nothing like vanilla nor almond...Rather, I smell licorice? This smells like an old dusty perfume... Perhaps this was an old batch...or maybe I received the wrong scent. Or maybe the vanilla scent being used in this is very synthetic. Either way the smell is really bad and I can’t stand it on my nails. I’m sure this is a great and kind company - I’m truly not trying to be mean. I really wanted to love this and I was prepared to keep buying if I liked it. But if you’re expecting a warm, bakery like vanilla scent than this is not what you’ll get. Check the other reviews - because it looks like customers review other scents and enjoy them. The actually consistency of the oil is really nice. It’s not too heavy and it sinks in great. But the smell really ruined the product for me :(
