Can these brushes be used with oil base and latex paints

I would NOT recommend these brushes for anything. I used them for acrylic paint and the hairs got stuck in the paint on my piece and ruined everything.

before I make a complaint to amazon are the #6, 4 and 2 supposed to be hard bristles? I didnt even open the package and these dont feel soft.

They are junk, pure and simple. Amazon should not be selling them on their site.

Is it easy to get the paint off?

It really depends on which paint you are using? I have used acrylics and ceramic glazes and they both rinse off real easy with water.

Are the handles made of plastic?

Some are wood handles and some are plastic. It's a great set, and they have held up nicely.

Great brushes for beginners because if you don’t take care of your brushes, you can easily ruin them in a few hours for that reason it’s good if they are super cheap. Meanwhile, these brushes work pretty good.
