Hoosier Hill Farm Oat Milk Powder, 3LB (Pack of 1)

This is good quality, mixes easily. I am using it to make coffee creamer, since I am allergic to cow's milk. It makes it much cheaper to use creamer and tastes great. Worth the money.

It tends to clump but if you use a frother it is fine. The flavor is also fine.

This oat milk powder is OK, and I have tried several different brands at this point. It doesn't mix well and it has a slightly odd aftertaste.

Great taste, great price, I use for my slimfast protein shakes in a personal serving blender and it mixes great. Ada a nice oatty nutty flavor. Disolves best of left overnight before use!!!! Definitely make the night before and let it sit, it will thicken up! It becomes more like the normal oat milk you're used too. Doesn't dissolve easily, needs to sit overnight, like overnight oats, for best quality and texture. I personally really like it. We add it to our cornbread mix to make it taste creamier, nuttier. It's really quite delicious! Makes me happy to have found this!!

I've been buying the oat beverage from Costco ever since it came out. I really enjoy that stuff. However, I thought I would try mixing the dry powder to save a little more money since oats are supposed to be a cheap product. This powder, while simple, is really frustrating. It's more like somewhat moist oat flour. It absolutely does not dissolve in any liquid at any temperature just by stirring- it requires a blender or aggressive whisking. There goes my morning coffee idea. It also tastes rather off. Definitely oat flavor, but so much worse than the Costco beverage, which is just oats, sunflower oil, and vitamins. I can't understand why there would be such a big difference. I hate that I had to spend a non-refundable $20 to try this. Definitely not worth the purchase and I'd recommend instead buying the oat milk cartons in the grocery store.

I was disappointed to receive a small rip in the bag ad other people have reported but otherwise seems like a great product. I chose this brand because it's offered in the bulk size, 3 pounds, resulting in less packaging than buying multiple bags of other products. I use it I'm everything including coffee. For coffee, I add it with coffee in a thermos and give it a good shake and it blends just fine.

I use this in so many things. I can't remember if I originally got it for bread or for smoothies, but I use it in both, in addition to creamy soup. I like that it's a neutral flavor so I can use it for savory recipes in addition to sweet recipes. It also is one of the few vegan milk powders in existence that I'm not allergic to (everything else adds pea protein or soy). I really hope they never changed the recipe.
