Cambridge Business Notebook, Legal Ruled Paper, 6-1/2" x 9-1/2", 80 Sheets, Flexible Soft Touch Cover, Purple (49556)

This gorgeous little notebook is my new happy place, the color is so pretty. The quality of the cover is outstanding, did arrive with some slight “smudges” on the cover but a damp paper towel wiped it right away. Only thing is I wish it had more than 80 pages. Perfect size, I like that the pages are perforated. Would buy again! I want a planner with this same cover material. So I’m on the hunt for that now!

I got spoiled, picked up an expensive Cambridge notebook at a Target years ago because I like the feel of the cover and pages and I got hooked. Being left-handed, spiral notebooks are a challenge but these are thin enough to lay flat and the spiral doesn’t get in the way. Pages are smooth for writing. I love a bold pen and am a heavy-handed writer. Sharpie doesn’t bleed through although you can see it from the other side. I really like these smaller ones that are easy to pop into my laptop bag and carry around a warehouse making notes. Most of my job is on a computer, but I always have a notebook handy to scribble down things which helps me commit them to memory. This purple one has that soft velvety feel cover I like most and I like the color. I also buy the larger letter size black one that is nice but boring. There’s a cheaper teal one the same size as this purple one I also get but that cover is a bit more plastic feeling. Extremely sturdy - covers never fall off and pages don’t rip out. I go through so many of these notebooks that I finally started dating the covers so I can know at least what time of year it was from if I go back to find a note. I have been using Cambridge notebooks i’m mixed exclusively for the last five years, and I am hugely disappointed if I have to grab something else in a pinch. We live in a small town so it’s not like I can just go to the store and get a nice notebook - we are lucky if we have a 5 Star option but usually it’s those cheap paper cover notebooks. I have finally started stocking up and bought some extras, but unfortunately, with recent projects, I am going through them like crazy. I probably haven’t bought 100 Cambridge notebooks, but it has to have cleared 50. This one isn’t the cheapest I buy here, but it’s much better than buying it out at a store and it’s still cheaper than some of the other options here - this one is my splurge because the size, velvety cover, and color hit just right.

I got hooked on these notebooks for meetings. The smaller size is even better, but they are made so high quality, the pages always turn the coil doesn’t break away, causing you to lose pages. They hold up very well to refer back to you.

Nice note book love the color, however the quality of the pages is not what I am used to with this brand. They were slightly thicker and I felt I got through the note book rather quickly than other ones of the same brand I have purchased in store, although I am not of how many pages came with the others. The color is nice however I do wonder if you use this as a note book you travel with if the covers would tear easily. I use it for work notes in my at home office and it is just fine. I don't know if I would purchase again beside me being ocd and liking the color of the cover.
