Good set, but the price has definitely gone up. I paid under $25.

The sculpts are good and properly scaled at the new standard of 1/265 (not the old 6mm aka 1/285) There are a few small imperfections to clean up, but that's inevitable with plastic, and nothing you can't fix with a hobby knife, small drill, and hot water. For example: The gargoyles need 2 of the 12 srm tubes drilled out. They also tend to have a slight upward bend to their gun barrels, but all you need to do to get them streight is dip them on hot water for several seconds, then straighten them by hand. You may also want to do this with the Mad Dog and Hellbringer to get their guns aimed in the same direction. As far as the mechs themselves go, this is a must have pack for any Clan player. The only real lemmon is the hellbringer, which is overvalued and underarmored, but is still worth having for how iconic it is, or even as a source of parts for upgrading one of your other OmiMechs. it's actually a good 'Mech if you switch the internal structure to endo steel, the armor to ferro fibrous, rip out all the anti-infantry pods and machine-guns, and use the three tons freed up to increase the armor to 11 tons. Its three medium lasers look more like smalls, if you ask me, buyt it's not a big deal. The total Battle value of this pack is aprox. 10k BV.2, Compare with the Game of Armored Combat, which has 8 Inner Shpere mechs totalling 9k BV.2

I dont know why i bought this. I looked at it and did. After looking at the minis in person. I am very happy i did. They look great. This box and one other have pushed me to keep my first narrative campaign pre clan invasion so we can play through those events in a follow up narrative.

The universe is rich with more than 40 years of story through the books, tabletop, and videogame series. If you're a fan of wargaming, but don't want to mortgage your house, play battletch. It's a fun game system that's better and easier to play than modern warhammer.
