The Body Shop British Rose Shower Gel, 8.4 Fl Oz

This is not a paid review — I bought this Satsuma bath gel myself and loved it so much I had to leave a review. The scent is bright, fresh, and smells just like juicy tangerines. It’s incredibly refreshing and uplifting. It lathers beautifully and leaves my skin feeling clean and energized without drying it out. Perfect for a morning shower or anytime you want a burst of citrus. Five stars all the way!

First body wash I've used that actually smells the way it advertises! Not chemical-y at all, smells exactly like a real rose. It works well for sensitive skin, but isn't so gentle that it doesn't get you clean. The bottle looks small, but you really don't need much for your whole body, so it's a pretty good amount for the price.

Love this shower gel. Great smell in the shower, but doesn’t perfume your skin.

Smells greats! Smaller bottle than I realized for the price but that’s on me for not paying attention. Lathers up nicely and leaves skin soft. Arrived in good condition with no leaks.

The scent is awesome

I used to LOVE the rose shower gel years ago and the smell it had 8 years ago or so. They’ve since changed the fragrance and it’s not as good - it smells almost artificial? It used to smell like the classic Bulgarian rose - really lovely and filled the shower with a lovely rose smell. Now I reach for other soaps because I don’t like the smell. I’ll finish the bottle (slowly) because it’s still a decent soap and if I use a small amount it’s not overwhelming. It’s not a smell I can’t stand, just don’t like it and it’s not a great smell experience like it used to be (which is the main reason to buy it honestly). I won’t be buying it again unless I smell it in store and it smells nice again. It’s possible this was a fake and that’s why it smelled different, but I’m not wasting my money buying it online without knowing I’ll like the smell.
