Blumat Bonsai Automatic Plant Watering Sensor || Never Over or Under Water Your Plants Again!

This product is completely misrepresented. It is presented as a stand-alone watering system which it certainly is not. It can be added into a larger system only. There is not enough piping to be used alone and it comes with a T-connector making clear its purpose. More crucially the bonsai watering stems are based on a different system than most Blumat waterers. In particular, they work by suction which needs to be carefully calibrated. There are absolutely no instructions!!! How to calibrate? Figure it out yourself. This product needs to be removed from Amazon until it is accurately described.

I bought 2 because I know of gardeners who find these very effective. However, the Amazon ad wasn’t remotely clear that it IS NOT A STAND ALONE DEVICE, and additional hose tubing, reservoir etc is needed to function at additional cost. Apparently this company makes stand alone watering devices but not for display bonsais-a plastic bottle or bowl nearby is required. Moral? READ THE DIRECTIONS -if they are posted-in this case they were not. 3stars because it arrived promptly seemed well made and no dispute regarding the refund.
