Quality timer and works great! The dials are smooth and easy to set. It is fairly intuitive to use. Unfortunately, I need a timer that doesn’t draw additional power. This one carries about 1.5-1.7 watts to run in addition to whatever power is pulled by the appliance it is timing. It isn’t much, but is enough that it doesn’t meet the needs of my backup battery. Highly recommend if your system can handle that slight additiinal wattage.

I used this as a timer for a blower for a compost system I built for our hobby farm. I built it into an enclosure and it has been working well for several weeks now. The included instructions were good. It was easy to adapt to my project. I would buy this again.

Before I bought the item ( UPC 680474115624 735090554484) I called the support # to verify the mode would stay programmed through a power cycle. Person I talked with first told me yes it would hold the programing then asked which unit I was considering and advised me it would loose mode program on a power cycle? Well the info on Amazon implied once programmed it would remember the mode so I bought the item knowing Amazon would allow a return. Bottom line unit holds the program even after being unplugged for days. In defense of the support person I did contact them on a Friday just minutes before they were going to close shop so they might have been in a rush to get out of work?

This worked for almost six years running a cycle of five minutes on/ ten minutes off, running a fan in my basement. I would give it another star if it lasted ten years, but the relay seems to have failed now.

Neat little device. I used it to power a homemade stirring machine that I need to have stirring action for a very short period of time every 30 minutes. Easy to use and a wide range of times built into the dials. You could use it for lights, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, feeders, pest and bird deterrents, irrigation, fans, etc. As long as you have something that needs to come on and off every so often, this should work.

I've had this running for several months prior to writing this review. It is very easy to setup and does exactly what it says it will do. The dials are analog and fairly course which is acceptable for most applications. However, if you want real precision ( like exactly 25 seconds on and exactly 100 seconds off ) it won't deliver. After a little fiddling, I ignored the scale on the dial and used my watch to time the cycles to make adjustments. What I described above is "accuracy". However, that's probably less important than repeatability. The good news is, once set the unit is highly repeatable ( it will repeat the set cycle with minimal deviation ). The other positive is if you lose power, the unit powers back on and restarts the cycling without any additional efforts. The only possible negative for some, are the dials don't lock down. This means if you bump the dials at some point you may inadvertently change the timing. This isn't a problem for me since it's plugged into a wall outlet, but it may be a problem for some if plugged into a power strip on the floor where a foot or pet can move it. Overall I'm very pleased and would buy another if needed.

I use this to cycle power to a heat tape wrapped around plumbing lines i have which isnt regulated by its own thermostat, works like a charm.

I am using this to control an electronic water valve which provides fresh water to my livestock; it's on for 2 minutes every hour. It replaced a much more $$$$ unit I had that conked out. It's been in use for a few weeks now and so far so good.

Bought quite a few in previous years and still going strong without any issues. The device is absolutely handy for many projects.

It works great and very easy to use. Using it for the Heat-Line (Electric Pipe Heating Cable). It turns it on for 5 minutes every hour. Magical!!!

I am using the timer to run a heat trace system on a water line in winter. It works fine once you get it set up, but the mode switch from normal to day/night to 24 hr is horrible. You need to plug it in, and roll the dials to maximum within 5 seconds or something like that. Took about 3 tries before it actually worked. I've only had it going for about 2 weeks, so no information on durability.
